Benign Essential Blepharospasms
Just thought I would check to see if Dr. Hass was still practicing. Twenty years ago I heard about him down in the Florida Keys. I was dealing with BEB and seeing numerous doctors who had no idea what I was talking about. In 2003 Dr. Haas performed a limited myectomy on both my eyes. Nineteen years later I still have the condition but I am able to keep my eyes open thanks to him and his knowledge of the condition. I owe this guy big time. He gave me my life back.

Haas actual visit
I’ve been to see Dr. Haas three times now. Once for an initial exam of the lesion. The second time to have the lesion removed and a third time for a complete exam and cataract evaluation. Dr. Haas seems to me to be very good. He has one technician, Miguel who seems nice enough, but is very hyper and is somewhat hard to understand because of his accent (my problem, not his). However, when I’ve asked him to repeat something he rambles on. He’s in and out of the exam room…as I said hyperactive.

embodies everything wrong with the medical profession arrogant greedy and confident. Had to go to another surgeon to revise his mistakes. Doctor feels that the patients are there for him to enrich his life and not the way it should be. Only operate Sundays at a convenient for him absolute avoid at all cost

Excellent doctor and staff. The office isn't your typical doctor's office either, very classy and elegant. I was impressed with everything at my visit, from start to finish. The doctor was very informative and direct.

He is a terrible doctor. I waited one hour to have to hear a very pretentious sales pitch. I thought I was in an used car dealership. He has money written all over his forehead.

Excellent Eye surgeon but bedside manner a bit stern. I'd recommend him due to the fact that he's good at what he does. If you're looking for a doctor to figuratively hold your hand and soothe you through injections in your face then he's not the one. He's smart, serious about his craft and runs a tight ship. Anyway, he has an amazing staff, especially Miguel. Miguel definitely bridges the gap by spending time with you and telling you everything you need or want to know. Good team work!

Didn't listen to my concerns, rushed through appointment. Didn't ask questions. Seems irritated if you show a little anxiety during procedures?. Ignored my request to remove an under eye mole during a procedure and decided to tell me in recovery he did not opt to remove the mole, what??? Will update this review after next appointment.
