Patients come first.
I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana but raised in Hawaii. My practice is built on the foundation of ohana and southern hospitality. I received my medical degree from University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. I have traveled the country through my surgical internship at The University Of Hawaii Integrated Surgical Residency Program and orthopedic residency at University Of Hawaii Integrated Orthopedic Residency Program doing rotations at Shriner's Hospital in Missouri, Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, and Ranchos Los Amigos in California, working with only the best and brightest residents. During my Sports Medicine fellowship at Tulane I found my true home, Louisiana. This is where my wife and I have raised our 3 children.
I have served the Slidell community as a board certified orthopedic surgeon since 1996. In that time, I helped found Southern Surgical Hospital, where I remain an active partner, and run a weekend clinic for injured youth athletes.
