I emailed Dr E for refills/appt. His response: "Your case has been closed due to lack of timely follow up & recommendations for treatment" Patient for +1yr. Few months ago he recommended ECT. I went to the hospital for a CONSULT. Concerned about memory loss, I decided to stay w/ meds. I didn't call to say I didn't want to do it, just planned on contacting when refills due. No notice whatsoever before he "closed my case". This is NOT upscale medication management. This is ECT or else $ Beware
This patient emailed me for refills only; not to schedule an appointment. She & her husband were in full agreement with ECT. She did not follow-up with her PreAnesthetic Evaluation, nor notify me or the Hospital ECT Department of her change in plan. She did not keep her every 3 month follow-up appointment routine. And, contacted me 4 months later only when she was running out of meds. Health Insurance pays 1/3 less for ECT compared to my Private Office. I called her refills in free of charge.

After over a decade of the same dx by multiple valley pdocs, ineffective prescriptions after 10min "med mgmt" visits... I had almost lost all hope, but decided to look beyond managed care which had continuously failed. After searching and inquiring of Dr. Espinoza's services, a day later he phoned me directly! He listens during visits, gives clear explanations. He is the most knowledgable & up-to-date pdoc I've ever known. I finally have the correct dx, meds, & feeling more positive each day.
