Knoxville, TN |
Dr. Edkin performed a partial knee replacement surgery on me successfully four year ago. It has since functioned very well with minimal follow up visits. I'd rate his health care and concern excellent. Dr. Edkin comes across extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his craft. Better yet, he takes much time to discuss patient issues and concerns, listens well, never makes you feel rushed and explains all the issues and options in a very detailed manner. He is likable and has great beside manner.

Dr. Edkin is a very thorough, caring physician. He is a good listener and excellent diagnostician. I recently needed a hip revision. The surgery was extensive and the aftercare was outstanding. Frequent follow up visits were reassuring and definitely helpful building my confidence toward recovery.

Dr. Edkin saved my leg when another Dr recommended amputation.
in Oakdale, TN |
I was totally and completely satisfied with Dr. Edkin and his partial knee joint replacement surgery on my knee.
in Knoxville, TN |
After seeing three doctors in Knoxville, numerous tests and excruciating pain in my hip, I saw Dr. Ginger Holt at Vanderbilt who looked at my MRI, said it was an infection and highly recommended Dr. Edkin for surgery. I got an appointment the following week and found Dr. Edkin to be brilliant, easy to talk to and very kind. In July, I received a spacer and three months of antibiotics and hip replacement in October. Everything went well, am on the mend and consider Dr. Edkin a blessing.

I have been to Dr Edkin for two knee replacements. The first one three and one half years ago and the second one in November 2017. Both surgeries were very successful. He was always helpful in explaining the whole process to me and cared about how I felt.
in Knoxville, TN |
I had a total left knee replacement in February and then a total right knee replacement in December. Dr. Edkin was great. Dr. Edkin always took the time to answer my questions and to explain the procedure. I would recommend Dr. Edkin to anyone wanting to have knee replacement surgery.
in Fairfield Glade, TN |
I was in terrible pain when I came to Dr. Edkin. He performed a partial knee replacement to correct the bone on bone problem. He performed the surgery on Monday, sent me home Tuesday and I discovered I was walking around at home on Wednesday without even a cane. Dr. Edkin really is the best from the first thru the final checkup!
in Oak Ridge, TN |
He is just very, very good at what he does. A joint replacement is no place for "feel good" approaches. Dr. Edkin tells it like it is and then brings a very good outcome.
Thank you, Wayne, for reaching out to us. Your opinion plays an integral part in our customer service.

Dr. Edwin is an excellent surgeon. He did hip replacement surgery on my mother in law who was 94 years old. She came through the surgery great. She was walking to the bathroom with assistance within hours after surgery and is now walking with her walker. Would definitely recommend Dr. Edwin
Wonderful Feedback! Thank you for your time!
in Seymour, TN |
He explains the procedure and everything associated with your surgery to you so you can understand. He is very polite and caring when discussing things with you.
Thanks Sandra Spangler, for leaving us this response.

Dr. Edkin did 2 partial knee replacements on me this year. He explained everything and answered my questions and concerns. He takes his time with you to make sure you understand everything, therefore the longer wait time to see him. He makes you feel like he really cares about you and your health.
We always love to receive great feedback!
Jacksboro, TN |
After 2 hip replacements he notified me that my implants were recalled, then did nothing to remedy the situation I had to find another surgeon to replace what Edkin had done.
in Sevierville, TN |
Dr.Edkin is the most experienced and qualified joint replacement surgeon ! The replacement he did for me came out 100% perfect and the recovery has been quick: Because he knows so much about what needs to be done: Better than any other surgeon anywhere ! Thanks, RJ
