Not happy at all with this doctor
First visit was with ARNP even though I booked with the Dr. She gave me an Xray which showed nothing. Ordered an MRI. No medication for the pain or inflammation. MRI showed a fractured shoulder. Then saw Dr. Domby where he said Frozen shoulder as well. Just ordered PT and nothing else. Could not get far in PT due to pain. Went for follow up with Dr. Domby. After 1 hour in waiting room and very rude staff I left. He is just too busy-possible double booking? Found a GP Doctor who deals in sports medicine. 1rst thing- gave me a 10 day course of Prednisone. At day 6 I had so much less pain and could move the shoulder. By day 10 and an additional cortisone shot I can do all PT exercises and no pain. I just can't understand why a specialist (Domby) would not give medication to reduce inflammation BEFORE ordering PT? I really want to report him to some entity because this was very poor medical treatment.

Took time off of work to go to my scheduled appointment with Dr. Domby. Once he found out I was there for knee replacement surgery was told he prefers not to do that so had to schedule another appointment, take another day off work. I suppose if I was a member of the Lightening instead of a senior he would have seen me.

Our family feels extremely lucky to have been referred to Dr. Domby. Our daughter is a nationally ranked junior tennis player who dislocated her patella and also suffered cartilage damage. Doc had a clear plan from the first meeting. Thoroughly went over the MRI with us, explained two different scenarios based on the MRI, and recommended his preferred remedy for each. Doc came to see us mid surgery to explain what he found, and most importantly what he felt was the best plan of attack. He strongly recommended the MACI to repair her cartilage & repair the patella tendon. Doc clearly stated there are other ways to repair the cartilage but he didn’t like them as much as MACI especially for young athletes. It’s been 14 months since her surgery and her recovery has been amazing to behold. Her knee is super strong and so is her confidence in her knee. Communication with staff and PT is stellar. (Aly Dhanani @ AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Rehab) Blessed to have Dr. Domby in our life!

Compassionate, cares for his patients, gives you all the information needed, his team is awesome, not only at his offices, the physical therapy team from the receptionist to the therapy person are great, they help you to get the appointments, not long waits... I hope not to need this team again because of a health problem, but I would recommend them 100%.

Dr Domby is an amazing doctor. He did surgery on daughter’s knee. This was her second knee surgery. The difference between Dr domby and her first ortho is off the charts. Dr Domby explains everything in great lengths and has prepared 3 plans depending on what he finds while in procedure. He and Becky make you feel like you are the only patient they are seeing. I would highly recommend Dr Domby

Dr. Domby recently replaced my right knee and I must say, I have never met a more compassionate and caring man in my life! He answered all my questions, patiently explained the entire procedure in simple to understand terms and did an amazing job on my knee! I can't say enough about how well he treats his patients.

This doctor is incredible. Had an accident where I tore both Quads. Required emergency surgery. Was lucky that Florida Hospital assigned him to complete my procedure. He has been very profesional in guiding me through this very difficult moment. I am an engineer so I ask a lot of questions. He has answered them all providing details to clarify my concerns. When I speak to friends, they are amazed of the how my scars look and of my recovery.

I saw Dr Domby today with my MRI of a torn rotator cuff. I had x-Rays taken there. I feared surgery, since it’s my right shoulder and I do nothing very well with my left! Dr Domby was very conservative, which I liked, and very personable. I found him easy to talk to. We came up with a plan that does not include surgery (if all goes well). He felt the tear was a small one (50% of tendon), even though the MRI stated “moderate to high grade”. He’s the specialist, not the radiologist!

I'm a college athlete and I recently tore my ACL and meniscus. This guy is the greatest doctor ever. Not only did he do an immaculate job on my surgery, but afterwards he spent a lot of time explaining everything to me. In my post op visits, I never felt like he had somewhere else to be. He drew on papers and pulled up my surgery photos if I had any questions, and he's extremely professional. I'm so glad I went to him.

Dr. Brian Domby is a surgeon who made me feel like my broken patella was personally important to him. I trusted him and believed in him to the fullest, that I would get my life back, and I did. He genuinely made me feel confident and cared for, 100 % of the time. I would recommend Dr. Domby, over and over again, to anyone who needed surgery, and I would make sure that they knew that he was the best! I now measure any doctor I have to Dr. Domby.

I had rotator cuff and bicep surgery in October of 2015...It was my first major surgery and I was very nervous. After meeting the doctor and his staff a few weeks before for my pre-op I felt very calm. Dr. Domby's bed side manner, calmness, and reassurance is 5 star. He and his staff thouroughly explained the procedure and the recovery time and what to expect. 6 months after my surgery I have recovered and have full range of motion & able to resume my golf game and yoga. I highly recommend him!
