My visit was a second opinion as newly diagnosed CLL/SLL Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I found Dr DiCarlo to be personable, easy to talk to and excellent in describing my disease entity and treatment plans offered. Very pleased with his bedside manner, introducing himself and shaking my hand. Kudos for the patient contact and not having his total focus being on entering data into the computer. UCLA health has provided such a valuable service for our community and their staff is top notch. Highly recommend them.

My husband has smoldering multiple myeloma that has been in remission for 16 years. As we entered our 70’s, we were concerned that something might change, so we contacted Dr. DiCarlo after our former physician took another job. Dr. DiCarlo has vast experience in this field and being connected with UCLA was important to us. We feel very secure with his knowledge and guidance. Dr. DiCarlo’s friendliness, confidence, and sense of humor put us at ease right away. We have seen Dr.DiCarlo during this COVID year and have always felt safe and well-cared for because his office staff has safety procedures in place that cover all requirements to keep the patients from becoming anxious having to be in a doctor’s office. They are so well organized. We are very happy Dr. DiCalo moved to this area to join the many fine physicians here.
