I am always AMAZED at the number of patients who complain about Wait times to see any Dr - from scheduling an appt, visiting the office to on the telephone. In any large metro area Drs are extremely busy; a great Dr is ALWAYS worth the wait! As a diagnostician, Dr Couri pinpoints the problem exactly, efficiently, and lays out a groundwork for further care. It almost always begins w/physical therapy, as building strength & endurance from the inside is usually the best approach. See this Dr!!!!

Dr. Couri is an excellent diagnostician. He can quickly see what might be wrong and suggests reasonable treatments. Surgery would be the last resort. He used injections to help me with severe back pain. And followed up with physical therapy. My pain is hardly noticeable now.

I would not recommend this Doctor or his staff to anyone. I waited over an hour to be seen. Once tests were finished I have still not received my results 6 weeks later. They won't send them to me unless I come to the office to sign a form and I live an hour away. Keep saying they sent to my Dr. but still have not after three requests. They are demanding payment and I have no idea what they found. Horrible staff. Please try elsewhere this staff is amazingly incompetent.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Couri. He properly diagnoised me in one appt. I was misdiagnosed from an injury for 5 months. He is the most thorough MD I’ve ever met. I read how he can have long wait times. I do not mind at all. He is worth it! I was seeing a MD at DMG who misdiagnosed my injury. She dismissed mine and the physical therapists concerns. It was awful. I would still have no plan of care and be in pain if it wasn’t for Dr. Couri. I am going to recommend all of my DMG patients to see him

I have worked with Dr. Couri for almost ten years. He is by far the BEST doctor I have ever worked with. Intelligent, full of knowledge, compassionate, kind, and talented. He listens, treats you as you are the only patient in the world, cares for you as a person. He has helped me through a plethora of pan conditions, epidural injections and surgeries. If it weren’t for Dr. Couri, I would not be in as good of a condition as I am. Dr. Couri s nothing short of a miracle in my life.

This is a 2 start not because of the doctor, but because of the staff. Dr. Couri is very nice and knowledgeable. However, his staff is rude. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes and then disconnected. When I called back I was placed on hold again without so much as a hello can you please hold and I stayed on hold for over 5 minutes but less than 10 minutes. I was then told that we could not see Dr. Couri for over a month, even if the doctor had requested to see us for an injection.

After reading all these great reviews, I was hoping to get an appointment with this doctor. Unfortunately, there is a three 1/2 month waiting list. Supports these reviews that he is good. Disappointed but cannot wait that long, given pain is happening now. :(

I have been a patient of Dr. Couris' for a few years now, and I am extremely happy with his treatment and care of me. I would recommend him to anyone I know, and I feel sure they would be as pleased as I am. I would run out of room if I listed everything, so I'll try to keep to the salient points. He takes his time with you, he listens to what you have to say, and he is incredibly knowledgeable. He considers your complete health situation. Not just what he's treating you for.I think he's great.

I have been a patient of Dr. Couri's for many years. At the request of my Ortho, I changed doctors. I am back with Dr. Couri. He is very compassionate, listens well, and explains all your options. Plus, he is funny, which may not be important to many, but to me, it helps to put me at ease. If I could give him a 10, I would!

Dr Couri is an outstanding doctor, easily the best I have ever visited. He is intelligent, thoughtful, dedicated, respectful, genuine, and kind. When a patient is with him, he is focused on the patient. We discuss treatment options, and I participate fully in decisions about my care. I often recommend him to others. In addition to being a great doctor, he is truly one of the best people I have ever met. I cannot say enough good things about him!
