One month ago I had very limited use of my right arm for example, I couldn't reach my ear let alone pickup a glass of water. That was before Dr. Blessinger performed a bi-level, cervical discectomy and fusion. The relief was almost immediate. Now, I can wash my face and hair with both hands and more importantly, I can drink a beer with my right hand (smile). Additionally, I no longer stubble through the house and my balance has been restored. If anyone is considering this type of procedure don't wait, let Dr Blessinger fix it and don't fret the going through the throat approach. The scar is minimal and hardly noticeable. Furthermore, the entire staff (X-ray, MRI, nurses, nurse practitioners, desk/reception and physical therapy) are friendly, accommodating and professional. The facilities are modern, clean and well maintained. If in the future I require anything Ortho, I will definitely be back to this practice!

I recently had back surgery on Feb. 20 by Dr Blessinger. I had absolutely no problems recooperating. I went for my 2 week check up and was told I had no restrictions on anything! On my next visit in 2 weeks, I was released! This wasn’t my first surgery with Dr BLESSINGER! Four months earlier I had a torn meniscus, I had it done that morning and went home as soon as I woke up. No problems at all. No recooperating time at all! Definetly reccomend Dr BLESSINGER to anyone!

I had lower back pain since 2000, but worsen over the last 8 years. Times when I didn't think I would ever feel relief. Dr B said I would never be free of pain, but that I would feel better. I also had trouble with my left hand. I have been dealing with this for some time also. My primary Dr said to ask Dr B. He did surgery, but told me I probably had lost the muscle, and not regained. I am so grateful because the other surgeon had not did anything. I believe he saved my hand from total loss.

Dr Blessinger is a very talented surgeon. He knew what was wrong with me after the MRI and insisted I needed surgery right away, He explains exactly what is wrong and how he will fix it. After surgery I have no pain or numbness like prior to my back surgery. I think he is wonderful and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Blessinger is an amazing person! For 4.5 months I dealt with a herniated disc, He was the first Dr. to take time out to fully explain and show me what was wrong. He explained the procedure I needed and recovery process throughly. He and his staff helped deal with the ins. Company to get what I needed. The same day I came out of surgery the pain I had been dealing with for 4.5 months was gone. Recovery was quick I was back to work in two weeks. I wish there were more Dr.’s like him!
