Dr. Bellucci was proactive in treating my COPD. Did more for me in two visits than my previous pulmonologist did in 5 years. He has improved my understanding of my illness and my quality of life. He is personable and willing to listen.

Transferred my husband from the ICU to a low level care floor with no supervision. My husband suffered a massive stroke and was unable to speak or push a call button. He was in restraints for over 4 weeks because with his brain damage he kept pulling at his trach, feeding tube and other wires. No one read his chart or transferred this information to the new nurses taking care of him. In the middle of the night my husband pulled his trach out and slowly suffocated until he went into full cardiac arrest. He survived but suffered further brain damage, fractured ribs and other complications. When I spoke to Dr. Belluci as to why he was transferred and why his chart wasn’t read he stated that,” it’s not his problem if the nurses don’t talk to each other.” He was very arrogant and rude. He stated they clearly neglected his care and he took no responsibility for my husbands lack of continuity of care or had any reason for transferring him.
