Medically complex children may be technology-dependent or have conditions such as developmental disabilities, multisystem failure, congenital heart defects, neurological disorders, stroke or traumatic coma, and respiratory system abnormalities, among others.As a professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Pickering instructs medical students, residents and fellows. He completed his residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine and earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Pickering is board-certified in pediatrics. Waited for two hours to see Dr Pickering. There was a sign on the wall stating if you have waited for longer than two hours to contact the front desk. Anyone who has a toddler will understand that keeping a sick child calm for two hours is nearly impossible. Unexceptable.
