Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Babat "Spinal surgery is complex. I feel it is vital that patients understand the nature of their problem, treatment options, and anticipated post-operative course and likely outcomes. Doctors can best help patients by carefully reviewing relevant records and imaging, and, most importantly, listening and asking/answering questions. My patients find that I "tell it like it is," and most appreciate that approach."

I found Dr. Babat to be very friendly, which put me more at ease. He patiently answered all of my questions--no sugar coating. I wanted to know exactly how he would correct my condition. He also took the time to explain not only the surgery but each phase of my recovery and rehabilitation.
