Dr. Kimball is an excellent neurosurgeon. My double cervical fusion was very difficult. It required extensive and delicate work to remove disc material behind 3 vertebrae that was crushing my spinal column. The operation went perfectly. Dr. Kimball patiently explained why he had to do fusions instead of installing artificial discs that he is a specialist in. I am so pleased that I am now scheduled to have Dr. KImball perform a double lumbar fusion in a few months.

Made me wait 2 hours in great deal of pain at "his Castle Rock clinic" before his staff uploaded my CT scan to "the cloud". He looked sleep deprived and yawned during the appointment. He should have prescribed TLSO bracing for my 45% spinal compression but failed. What he did however was write me a "prescription" for his father's food supplements - with a 10% discount on $159 for 30 day supply. However, he failed to disclose his related-party conflict of interest. My due diligence discovered it.

I went in to see Dr. Kimball a bit confused from previous visits I've had from other sources. I left my visit with Dr. Kimball with a very clear understanding of my condition and my options. Clarity is what I was seeking and it is what I found. I just want to say thank.

I honored the appointment and arrived on time and was left to sit in the exam room for an hour and ten minutes waiting for someone to come in. I was forced to leave without ever speaking to Dr. Kimball due to my personal schedule - but never heard from anyone in the office about rescheduling, let alone a call from Dr. Kimball personally to apologize for his lack of respect for my time. I do not recommend Dr. Kimball if for no other reason than a glaring lack of care for a patient.

Dr Kimball is incredibly knowledgable about his field of practice. He has done certain types of surgeries Keyhole surgery for example) that almost no one knows how to do successfully. He removed a tumor from the center of my wife's brain about 3 years ago that not that many years ago would have been considered totally inoperative. I would trust this incredible man implicitly with my own life if I had to.

I never expected to need to see a neurosurgeon, but after a sports injury in California that fractured vertebrae in my neck & back & being hospitalized two nights, I needed to find a specialist I could trust when I came back to Colorado. I was referred to Dr. Brent Kimball by a friend who had brain surgery. Dr. Kimball & his staff at the Lone Tree & Castle Rock offices are phenomenal, and I appreciate his focus on the healing process, appropriate exercise & diet, and genuine care for the patient

Dr. Kimball performed a disk replacement surgery on me in 11/15 and the results were life changing. I had been told by other physicians that I must have a disk fusion which was recommended by my insurance provider. Dr Kimball and his team was willing to take on my insurance and persuaded them to provide for a disk replacement. I was back on my feet in a week and my pain was simply gone. It was life changing. I plan to return to Dr Kimball for any neurosurgical needs.

This is the worst doctor's office I've EVER been. He'ss rude, his staff is rude. They NEVER call you back - ever. I've left probably 7 msgs for them over the last 3 wks & still no answer to my questions. I currently have surgery scheduled & re-arranged all my other appts/infusions, then he decided to move it to a another surgery ctr that would be easier. They still have not called me back to let me know if I am still having surgery tomorrow morning or not & where. Unprofessional.

Combs; Day 4 Post Op: Dr Brent Young Kimball (neurology) is very intelligent, considerate, caring and a truly gifted surgeon! Dr K is really a genius! The full replacement at C6 & C7 was a PERFECT fit, alleviating all shoulder, arm, and finger pain almost immediately! The change is (already) amazing! Dr Kimball (and staff) never "talked down" to anyone - neither did he apply pressure. Thank you Dr. K, for the great experience, and quality work you have done for my cervical spine.

Dr Kimball is a gifted physician, as well as Sean McGee his PA.I recommend them as clinicians and surgeon. The front office however is grossly negligent, i.e. appts not scheduled even after we had a written card, this happened twice. We were unable to get prescriptions refilled after 3 calls from the pharmacist and one from me.

Dr. Kimball and Sean, his PA, are definitely a dynamic duo! They have taken great care of me throughout the course of my surgery and recovery. I was very lucky to have Dr. Kimball on call the night I needed emergency brain surgery. Now, whenever I mention his name to medical professions, they say, "Yes, you were in good hands". Thanks for saving my life!

My husband has been to several surgeons regarding his back problems. Dr. Kimball explained and answered our questions. He spent all of the time we needed to help us understand the procedure he would be performing. We never felt rushed or talked down to. He is a very kind, caring and friendly person who strives to give the best care to his patients. We feel so fortunate that we found Dr. Kimball. Furthermore, his PA Sean was also extremely knowledgable and caring.

While I feel Dr. Kimball is highly qualified, and does well with explaining things during your visit, I felt like a relatively anonymous number in general. Even though I had seen him before, he didn't seem to recall anything from my previous appointment. Also, his front desk staff are extremely rude and dismissive. I felt like I was putting them out just by showing-up.

I came to Dr. Kimball with a serious health need that had to be addressed immediately. He took the time to fit me into his schedule, took a great deal of time to explain medically what was going on, and exactly what next steps were to get me healthy. He was caring, thorough and professional. I felt cared for and listened to. The day of my surgery, he took time to come visit with me before and after surgery. He brought me back to full health. I am walking and living life today thanks to him!

Worst Dr. I have never dealt with. After waiting for 2 hours and 47 minutes we saw his P.A. As Dr.Kiimball decided to just leave his office. This was a serious appt. He obviously felt his time was more important then ours. We would like to bill him for the three hours my husband had to take off of work.
