This man, doctor and surgeon is THE VERY BEST I have encountered. And I have had 10 surgeries in my past, two being knee replacements. He and his staff did a total left hip replacement. It has been the easiest surgery I have ever had. He, Chris and the rest of the staff were just awesome! I totally recommend you have him do your surgery.

I have seen Dr. Hansen for 3 surgeries on my left collarbone due to a bad fracture from a seat belt in a car accident, and also for a fracture on my left kneecap due to a fall on it. Each time he has been very kind, caring, and very conscientious, as well as meticulous about all aspects of my aftercare. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

I have had the good fortune to have both knees replaced by Dr. Hansen. The first one was in October of 2015 and the last one was September of 2016. He is an excellent physician and I would never hesitate recommending him to someone else. His pre-surgical care and post care regimen are exceptional. For example the first two weeks I had physical therapy at home followed by 6 weeks out-patient physical therapy. I had no complications from the surgery and am now 6 months post-surgery and great!

I recently had knee replacement. He has his PA do the closing procedures and she totally screwed up. She got the drain stuck in my knee and I ended up having to undergo a second surgery, since it broke when the nurse tried to remove it. I had a bad reaction to the anesthetic and ended up with major health issues. Once Hansen and Co were done with the surgery, I never saw them again. They never bothered to check to see how I was doing or anything.

When you go for your appointment, plan on waiting at least 45-1 hour before being called back, and then at least another 45 minutes sitting in a room where you can clearly hear other patients' and their medical information (as they can hear yours as well) He listens to about 1/2 of what you say and then does not answer your questions or address your concerns. Made me feel like all he wanted was insurance money, not me healthy. No bedside manners and poor documentation skills!

It's actually been a couple of years since I had my knee surgery with Dr. Hansen but the experience I had was great. He told me exactly what was wrong, removed the foreign bodies and I felt better within the week. He was very informative and likable. I just found out he takes my new insurance plan, unfortunately I am seeing a new surgeon for the arthritis in my knees but now that I know Dr. Hansen takes my insurance I am hoping to try and switch back to him because I like him so much more!

Dr. Hansen and his staff provided excellent care and treatment for my fractured clavicle. He did not rush me into surgery but after determining the fracture was not healing he brought me in for plate fixation surgery. He and his staff were caring and instilled confidence, and best of all the outcome exceeded my expectations because within a few weeks I had full mobility with no pain whatsoever. The strength of the repair was so good that I did not re-injure it when crashing my dirt bike. .
