Dr. Connolly's Care Philosophy

Sarasota Orthopedic Associates is organized as a professional association to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery that includes diseases and conditions of the musculoskeletal system, arthritis and fractures. The organization was established by Mark S. Kauffman, M.D., in 1977 and continues to add physicians with expertise and skills that enable us to provide quality care and the latest technology. Our physicians spend several weeks each year continuing their education and improving their skills and seeking new answers to old problems in order to remain current in their field. Although our physicians all practice general orthopedic surgery, each has a special area of interest that has required additional training.

Dr.Connelly is a very carring doctor.at first he pushed surgery, and I got a second opion.I had a broken hip,and he was right on with diagnosis. Had surgery he wanted me in NO PAIN...he spent time with me explaining in hospital and in office..I trust his judgement..I am now recovering 4 WEEKS, sore and at times pain, but everything went well and scare is not as bad as it looked.

I would not recommend this hack to anyone. Really messed my shoulder up and did not seem to care. He said it was my fault for not rehabbing it correctly. I found out later he is only interested in the money and will cut anyone open to pay for his new Cadillac. One of the nurses later told me he is more interested in playing footsy with his scrub tech than getting the surgery done correctly. Just say No to this one!

Would not recommend to anyone. Only interested in money. Wish I'd seen someone else maybe I wouldnt have a deformed limb.

Went in for shoulder pain, he did an MRI of my neck without telling me. So he said everything was fine.. Went to a different doctor and said that I had a previous tear in my shoulder. So I had a tear, but he never investigated enough to fix the problem. Now my shoulder is all messed up because it healed wrong.

The best Dr.in Bradenton fl..Dr. Connolly did my rotator cuff.I have fully regained my movement on my left shoulder like never happened..he is the best..highly recommended for all your orthopedic problem
    in Sarasota, FL |
Overall a good experience but I feel I should have been informed that the rotator cuff surgery I went in for (MRI revealed tear and I got a second opinion so not faulted for this) was actually not necessary BEFORE my follow up date 9 days later. I could have begun mild movement exercises to advance the healing earlier and just reduced stress. Office staff were great - especially the appointment scheduler.
