New patient appt. Very challenging to get correct insurance sorted out re: in-network/co-pay but kept getting told out of network/deductible. Had to get insurance company involved to sort out. Was told I'd have to wait 2 HOURS to see him! I was told by the lady at the desk, that this was the norm. Incredible. Here's a thought. Just schedule the appointments 2 hours later. I guess he's a pretty exclusive doctor. Didn't stay. Not going back. Terrible!

Dr. Shipman takes whatever time you need to explain his findings. He doesn't "talk down" to his patients. He cares.
