Dr. Mackler received his Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1988. He completed 3 years of Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and became Board Certified in Internal Medicine. From there, he attended Montefiore Medical Center in New York where he completed two years of additional education and training in the Specialty of Gastroenterology. Dr. Mackler became Board Certified in Gastroenterology in 1995 and continues this certification today. He has been in private practice in Seaford, Delaware since 1994 and has over 22 years experience as a gastroenterologist. Dr. Mackler is on staff at Seaford Endoscopy Center and Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Mackler lives in Seaford with his wife and family. He has two children who both graduated from Seaford High School and went on to college. Still at home are several cats and dogs. Both he and his wife are very involved in the Seaford community. Dr. Mackler is a member of the Seaford Lion's Club, the Seaford Historical Society, and the Friends of the Seaford Library. He is an annual supporter of the Seaford Community Concert Association and various other local charities and is an avid Raven's fan.
