After moving to Lincoln in 1992, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Bowdino completed both medical school and neurosurgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1999 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Bowdino is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, he is a clinical assistant professor for Neurosurgery at UNMC and is currently the President of the Medical Staff at Lakeside Hospital (having previously served as Vice Chair of Medical Staff, Secretary/Treasurer and Vice-Chairman for Surgery at Lakeside). In his free time, he enjoys a wide variety of sporting activities in the great outdoors. "

Very, very poor patient DR communication. Was referred by pain Doc to attempt to find pain relief (surgical) for disk protrusions ETC. Doc ordered MRI, and then EMG but never personally spoke with me regarding results. Had to call in to have (Ann, Coordinator) tell me that since the EMG came...more
