He was very informative about the surgery. He had the best bed side manner of any Dr. I have ever seen and I have seen a bunch. Before I went to surgery he ask to prayed with me, which made me feel good.

Dr. Thomas performed L5 - S1 fusion Aug. 2013. 18 months post-op I had develped severe scoliosis; lost 3" in ht.,, bowel/bladder incontinence, constant pain, difficulty ambulating.. I was fully compliant with post-op regimen; never missed an appt., completed PT, exercised. Dr. Thomas never expressed concern re surgical outcome. When I pressed him about intervention he would only say "[I don't] do that kind of surgery." He offered no plan of care despite rapidly escalating deterioration

He cares about his patients well being and this is seen from every person on his staff to his personalized way of dealing with patients. He is a Christian man, whose patients feel taken care of.
