I had L4, L5 and S1 fused by Dr. Prybis. He sold me on the surgery when he promised he would fix that part of my back. After a couple months post surgery, I started suffering from loud popping and squeaking noises from the area of my surgery. During our visit discussing the noises and new pain, he stated to me and my wife, "ya'll need to lighten up it's not like he has cancer." We we're shocked. He heard the noises in the office and had zero explanation. Nor did he offer any apologies. ?????

Dr. Prybis performed by husband's spinal fusion surgery. After 2 months, his back began squeaking & popping. You can hear it from 5 ft. away. Dr. Prybis could not give us an explanation. I became worried & it was obvious. He looked at us & said, 'Lighten up, it's not like he has cancer.' I am angry & scared this man operated on my husband. He showed no empathy, only arrogance. We will now be going to Emory or Hougston Clinic to see if they can fix my husbands back. Dr. Prybis is a disgrace.

Frustrated with the lack of empathy or help for chronic pain that I've suffered with for years. Was given the bogus prescription for ibuprofen, which for anyone suffering from chronic pain (including post spinal fusion pain) is like trying to stop a steam roller with a rubber ducky. I won't be going back. Time to find a new spine specialist. And seriously, why doesn't a spine specialist prescribe something better than ibuprofen?? Ridiculous.

Waited over two hours in the patient exam room. then he's pushing this new medicine a form of ibuprofen with a coating for easy digestion. Looked him up on the national database for pharmeutical paybacks to doctors on non generic prescribed medicine and he topped the list making 106k from August 2014 to December 2015. No wonder he's pushing this medicine. He is clearly biased to what he prescribes since he has a self interest to gain. Look him up on project.prorepublica.org/docdollars/
Had appointment with him, did see him only his PA and currently have no clue what is going with back. Dont bother with him since he can't be bothered with you
