I like Dr. Dresher because he LISTENS to what I have to say, unlike other doctors who make their minds up before we finish our discussion. This is very important to me, and then we both can say...“Let’s do it, even if it’s right.” O.K. Niess Jr. COS, CO...(my first text with my new iPhoneSE!)

On a holiday weekend while ill, I badly injured my left leg. Urgent care sent me to the nearest ER with an Orthopedic surgeon on call. My fever returned and they would not operate. My GP had retired in December so I had no one to turn to for advice. Dr Dresher saw me the next day, clearly explained what he saw as a plan and what he could do for me. His team helped me as I navigated getting clearance (from a GP who had never seen me and a cardiologist) for surgery on the broken ankle. Unable to be at my home and staying with my son’s family north of Denver, the team scheduled appointments, and worked with off site MRI and Physical Therapy to facilitate a complete and excellent recovery of the ankle and strengthening of my knee that would need treatment as well. They referred me to another knee specialist who could better address that injury. Dr. Dresher, his expertise, and his team are excellent! They listen to you and if you listen to them, you will have top notch care.

Greeted by name, on time, with a smile. Dr. Fresher was a bit behind, but seems like he works on his lunch break to ensure patients don’t wait even longer. He looked at my foot while asking questions, allowing me to ask questions as well. He took time to answer each question. He explained everything to my understanding, told me to visit as needed.

DR. Dresher is an amazing man. This was my 2nd visit. Dr. Dresher seems so sincere and ready to resolve my pain and move forward. He answered all off my questions, and I ask alot lol. He listened to my complaints of where the pain is and we moved forward with a 2nd treatment of cortisol and a plan of action to move forward. Thanks so very much Dr. Dresher and staff. Thanks for showing me you care.

I was so lucky! When I shattered the outside bone in my foot, I got an appointment with Dr Drescher. He discussed care options, and when I elected surgery, he made room for me in his schedule the next day. I am healing beautifully. Dr Drescher is clearly an excellent orthopedic surgeon -- he is also a great doc. Explains, listens, and is very respectful. He's a lovely human being as well. I recommend him unequivocally.

Dr. Dresher is the consummate professional. He takes as much time as necessary to answer all your questions. He explains your options in detail. He starts with conservative measures. If surgery is necessary, he explains exactly what he's going to do and what expected healing time will be. If you think you could potentially need foot or ankle surgery, your search is over. There is no better foot or ankle surgeon in Colorado Springs.

Dr. Dresher took care of my right foot back in 2015 and removed a lipoma that was bothersome while walking, so when I started having pain in the forefoot last month I felt very confident going back to him. He’s extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk with, listens to what you say, has a wonderful bedside manner and he’ll take time to answer all your questions. I never feel rushed and totally trust his diagnosis. I will always highly recommend him. His PA, Robert Valdez is just as professional and thorough. They make a great team!
