Amazing Orthopaedic Surgeon
The most organized doctor's office I have ever encountered. I did not have to wait long before getting called for my initial consultation on 20 Jul 2023 with Dr. Cohen. I have first hand experience and was able to validate what a lot of his patients are saying about his treatment of patients and how he interacted with them. He is personable and explained things about the mechanics of knee surgery that a layman could easily understand. He gave me several options but empowered me to choose which one was best for me. I opted for a full knee replacement surgery scheduled for 23 Aug 2023 which went very well and he started me on physical therapy sessions right away a day after my surgery at the hospital. Dr Cohen is supported by go-getters staff one of whom is Ashley Yuhas who was assigned as my surgical coordinator. There are no issues that can't be handled by Ashley in a very professional manner. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen and won't hesitate to give him more than 5 stars.

Dr. Cohen is an amazing surgeon, never in a rush!
Dr. Cohen is slow to recommend surgery, when he does, he explains in detail what you can expect. He has performed three joint replacements, both of my knees (six months apart) and my right hip. The results for all three surgeries were better than he predicted, and I was able to return to normal activities ahead of his initial timeline. His entire staff are as professional and competent in their job as he is as a surgeon.

I was recommended to Dr Cohen by a friend who gave him excellent reviews. After my experience I can say that I have never received better , professional care from any medical provider. Dr Cohen is top notch. A few days after my first bisit, it was discovered I had RA. Dr Cohen and his team quickly guided me to an RA specialist working within the Arch medical group. He pulled some strings and I had an appointment in days , not months. This delayed my total knee replacement by 6 months. I received total support from Dr Cohen and his staff. 2 days before my surgery my wife had a medical emergency which caused another delay. Again total support from Dr Cohen and his Staff. At this point I have had 2 total knee replacements. After surgery the treatment and care is the same as before surgery, excellent I highly recommend Dr Cohen and his Staff. His surgical coordinator Ashley Yuhas is one of the hardest working problem solving professionals I have ever met. Charlie Dimock San Diego Ca

Overall Positive Experience
I had two full knee replacements six weeks apart. I had severe pain in both knees and had difficulty doing routine things. Dr. Cohen and his team are amazing. He explains everything very well and is easy to follow. He did everything he said he would do and the results are exactly as he said they would be. I am now 3 months post op and am back doing everything I was unable to do prior. I heartily recommend Dr. Cohen.

Top notch experience!
Dr. Cohen and staff made my entire experience of knee replacement amazing. Everyone is really friendly and helpful, and they provide wonderful support both before and after surgery. The wait time for appointments is just minutes. Dr. Cohen himself has a friendly demeanor and put me at ease very readily. He obviously knows what he’s doing. My recovery has been swift and I think my scar will be almost invisible in a couple of years. I will most definitely return to Dr. Cohen if I need additional joint replacements!

Fantastic Orthopedic Surgeon
As a former softball catcher, I have dealt with ongoing knee pain. Both knees have been surgically repaired in the past with my left knee, needing more acute care. After reaching out to Dr. Cohen, we came up with a plan of treatment which resulted in a total knee replacement at the age of 43 years old. I couldn’t be more happy with the results Post surgery. With continued physical therapy I know I will be close to 100% again. Thank You, Krista B.

Excellent Surgeon
Dr Cohen was recommended to me by a friend. I had an appt two weeks later. There was significant bicep tendon and rotator cuff damage. Four weeks later, Dr Cohen performed rotator cuff repair with bicep tenodesis. I'm grateful he was able to repair everything. I marvel that he was able to successfully repair the bicep as it was on the edge of no return. My range of motion is restored, and the pain is gone. The process from start to finish was smooth sailing thanks to Dr Cohen's staff. His surgery coordinator took care of logistics for me and was super helpful. She even gave me her cell number so I could easily reach her. I knew what to expect from start to finish. I found Dr Cohen to be sympathetic, kind, and patient. His pace is fast, but, when I asked questions, he took time to patiently answer them and offer input. I am grateful to Dr Cohen and his staff and, if I have other ortho concerns in the future, he will be my go-to.

Highly professional, very knowledgeable, was able to satisfy all my questions and calm any anxiety I had about a complicated surgery like a joint replacement. He advised me that he would take the time to make sure I understood options available and explained fully his estimate of a favorable post-operative outcome (which it was). Two of my local neighbors had a similar procedure performed with a highly satisfactory outcome. I am almost fully recovered to full arm use (shoulder replacement) with no pain and virtually full motility after less than 3 months. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone considering shoulder surgery.

Total Hip Replacement from Dr Cohen
Dr Cohen and staff were professional, friendly and most attentive to my needs for a hip replacement surgery. I knew after Dr Cohen had been high recommended that I was in excellent medicare care. To top it off Dr Cohen was very personable and really cared about my condition. He called me to check on my progress pre and post op, and even left me his personal cel number to call him anytime. Dr Cohen assured me that I was his top priority. I'm so pleased with my new hip and renewed abilities in staying active. Dr Cohen and his staff arranged for consistent physical therapy within days of surgery, starting at home, then at their referred PT facility, expediting my recovery. There I was met with the same professionalism and care, as well as continued follow-up from Dr. Cohen. I'm so pleased with the service and outcome from my surgery with Dr Cohen, that I wanted to write a review for those who are considering orthopedic treatment. With confidence, I highly recommend Dr Cohen and his team.

Great job!
Dr. Brad Cohen did a great job on my total hip replacement. I healed rapidly, walking well with no pain in 5 and a half weeks. So happy I had Dr. Cohen as my surgeon. Leading up to the surgery I had numerous questions about his thoughts on my X-Rays. He discussed how he would approach the operation and explained the prostheses available to create the right fit and proper offsets and angles. Of course, in the end you trust the surgeon to do it the best way and I am confident he did a superb job. It was notable that all the people I met in the hospital were attentive and friendly. I know nurses and anesthesiologists I ‘ve met for a knee operation, ankle operation and aortic dissection. The experience at Pomerado Hospital was the best. By now I wish I had decided on this long ago, but c’est la vie. I would recommend Dr. Brad Cohen anytime.
