I live in Pickerington and wanted to see a Sports Medicine Ortho for a knee problem. I actively go to the gym and I am almost 50 years old. Dr. Bernacki consulted me reference a torn meniscus. We scheduled an outpatient surgery for a few weeks later. Dr. Bernacki is very personable and the surgery has corrected my knee pain. Thank you Dr. Bernacki.

I was able to be seen 2 days after I had an injury. Dr. Bernacki ordered an MRI. His technician told me that we could schedule the MRI ASAP. Then the receptionist told me that she could not schedule the MRI until she had pre-auth from insurance. I got a call to schedule 3 business days later. I was told that doctor would be on vacation and that I would not be able to see him for two weeks. It will be nearly a month to get MRI results after injury. No results by phone. UNACCEPTABLE.

I would give no stars if it would let me. Arrogant, horrible surgeon. No matter who you ask at the hospital they will say the same thing. And I mean staff... he has totally changed our families life after having him perform a surgery which he then messed up and didn't even care. My husband ended up spending a total of 48 days in the hospital. Half of it at Mount Carmel. Beware of this guy.
in Granville, OH |
I'm very disappointed in the lack of care or concern shown by Dr. Bernacki. Two back to back scopes on my left knee last fall. The second scope, he so badly damaged my knee that I had to receive a knee replacement on February 8, 2017. But not by Bernacki! I went to someone else for a second opinion and when he opened up my knee he saw how bad it truly was. Be careful about going for surgery at his new outpatient surgery center too, Northpointe. It's an insurance scam.
in Pataskala, OH |
Dr Bernacki has done carpel tunnel surgery on both of my hand. I had the right hand done two years ago. All went as planned. Ten days ago I had the left hand done. Again another surgery done without any complications. Dr Bernacki is very caring and so is his staff. I highly recommend him if you need a orthopedic specialist. Denise Smith

A great doctor, very caring. I had a torn meniscus, was treated very quickly for it. Had exceptional service at his office and at Northoint Surgery. Everyone was so nice and caring
