Rude - Arrogant - narcissistic - argumentative - thinks highly of himself - not liked by his peers - poor bedside manners - likes to intimidate staff/subordinates He left Texas to run from his reputation.

He's a bit quirky but honestly it works with my kids. My son gets weird around the nurses but opens right up as soon as Dr Alpert steps into the room and jokes with him. He's good at getting the kids familiar with him.
