This doctor is unable to properly diagnose my condition and is shifting a burden of proof on me by stating that I am imagining my health issues and offering to take psychiatric drugs, while the actual symptoms go undiagnosed and untreated. I feel I've wasted too much valuable time with him. However, this does not end there, the doctor also refers me to other doctors with the same diagnosis that basically stands for "I do not know what is wrong with my patient," so other doctors will not take me seriously either. This is a vicious circle. Never had I imagine that I would have to convince doctors of legitimacy of my symptoms instead of getting diagnosed properly and treated. I was referred to Dr. Furman by my physician as one of the best. A ridiculous claim as I now see it. On my last visit, the doctor told me that he has other patients to see and to state my additional concerns quickly. And this is after 1 hours of waiting on him.

Dr Furman was recommended to me by a few people in the health field. I had bad experiences trying to find a knowledgeable Neurologist. After my first visit with Dr. Furman I knew I had found a Neurologist that was competent and exceeded all my expectations. The staff is always busy but they stop what they are doing to help if you need anything. I have referred people to him and they have all had good experiences too. Adam Friedman

This doctor called me at 9pm on a Friday night, as soon as he finished reviewing the test results. He knew it would be on my mind all weekend and wanted to prevent any concerns or anxiety. I will recommend this neurologist to anyone who needs one!
