Good surgeon
Happy with procedures. One strong suggestion: The team has to be more forthcoming from the get go about post procedure expectations and duration of healing etc.

I used Dr. Lissauer 5 months ago for upper and lower eye surgery. In addition to wanting a less aging look due to the beginning of excess eyelid skin forming, I also had a minor ptsosis on one eye. I was very nervous as I had never done anything like this before. However Dr. Lissauer was recommended to me by one of the top cosmetic dermatologists in NYC . After meeting with him for a consult I knew he was the right doctor to perform the surgery. He is not only well-known as a master at creating a natural but well rested look when he performs eye surgery - but is extremely kind, low-key, understanding and patient. He made me feel like I was in good hands right from the start, answering all of my questions and even when I had a very minor issue post-surgery he returned my call in 10 minutes to solve the problem. In addition, his staff is wonderful! Both Sarah and Nicki made me feel comfortable whenever I had any contact with them. I would highly recommend using Dr. Lissauer

Dr Lissauer is amazing and always always always available. But more than that he is a skilled surgeon. He helped me achieve a great outcome after I had eyelid surgery that resulted in an outcome that I was not happy with. I trust him completely.

With so many to choose from in a NYC it’s Not an easy task picking one. Dr. Lissauer came highly recommended not from 1 not from 2 but several people some being doctors themselves . The minute I met with him I knew I was in best hands I could be in . I am Approx a month out from my having my eyes done and I couldn’t be happier. Since I had Graves’ disease my eyes presented a tad more of a chellange but for not for Dr Lissauer. Did I mention he is a nice as a person/ doctor as he is talented .

Dr. Lissauer performed a bilateral upper and lower lid blepharosplasty. If any surgery, including elective cosmetic surgery, could be considered a positive experience, then I would have to say this surgery was – not only because of the way I look but the way I feel. He is very professional with a low key manner and listened to my concerns. His goal (and mine) was to make me look "refreshed." The operation proceeded without complications. There was little pain and only minor discomfort.

After many years deliberating about a blepharoscopy and many visits to other well known surgeons , I immediately knew upon meeting Dr. Lissauer that he was the one. My eyes look natural and the surgery was quick and painless. I only wish he operated on more than just the eyes. He is highly recommended.
