Dr Sessions was so caring with our daughter’s broken wrist. She is on the mend and she had a very positive experience. Also the staff was very accommodating with our busy schedule and we were able to get timely appointments. Highly recommend this practice!

Dr Sessions is excellent. He made it possible for me to resume cycling 10 days after a badly broken clavicle/collarbone, which occurred while cycling. I love cycling and was really concerned how long before I would be able to go biking again. I called the day after the accident and got an appointment that afternoon. Surgery was performed 2 days later. A week later the stitches were removed and I was able to go biking that day. This was 10 days after the accident! It is now 7 weeks since the surgery and I’ve completed 5 physical therapy sessions (1 hour each). My range of motion is doing great and the only pain (minor) is my previous arthritis condition in that shoulder. Oh yeah I’m 62 but in better shape than when I was younger (thanks to cycling).

Dr. Sessions has correctly diagnosed and corrected a problem caused by a less attentive and less caring orthopedist following fracturing my right radius. His treatment and post-op plan for my rehab was efficient and 100% effective. He treated me as though I were a long-term friend rather than just another case. Can't recommend him highly enough. Our community is so fortunate that he chose to practice here.

First time visiting Sessions. Tells me to explain whats wrong. He cut me off two sentences in because he noticed a previous scar from a prior hand surgery. He asked me what doctor performed that hand surgery and rudely implied (through eye rolling, sighing, and verbal remarks) that it was not necessary and the cut was bad (not sure how he knew this because he didn't even know the reasoning of the surgery). That surgery was successful in eliminating pain and giving me back some use of my arm...so his comments were way off base. That was the first five minutes of him walking into the room for my appointment. The rest of the appointment continued to flow the same way and he actually misunderstood something I said (because he cut me off) and it led to him going on a rant about it. But when I was able to realize he misunderstood what I said and his rant was over, I was able to correct him. He got more mad and didn't even apologize for his mistake. Overall, it was the most unprofessional do

Dr. Sessions did carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand. I was amazed at how little pain I had after the surgery. I did not require much pain medication which consisted only of Ibuprofen and Tylenol. He and his assistant were both very professional during the entire procedure for which I was wide awake.

Brought my 9 year old son in who was complaining of a hand injury that would not go away. Dr. Sessions immediately identified the problem and gave us several options on treatment. My son was very comfortable and his staff is A+. Highly recommend Dr. Sessions for hand or shoulder issues.

I saw Dr Sessions last year and I was treated for trigger finger. He was thorough without a whole bunch of extra stuff, which i appreciated. Now, having issues with my thumb, I am sad to hear that he has left Philly. I wish Louisiana was closer.

Dr. Sessions operated on my hand last year and did a great job. He explained everything well and guided me through my recovery so I understood everything along the way. Hand is feeling great but now my other one is hurting and wanted him to take of it. Sorry to see that he's left Philadelphia. Great bedside manner, great surgeon. Philly's loss is Louisiana's gain. Good luck Dr. Sessions!

I have 3 issues with my left arm, he was the only doctor to take the time to figure out a plan for each problem. Called to make an appt to finalize the options and was told he was no longer there. What a terrible shock,he was the best doctor I had ever been to, knowledgeable, caring, and treated you like a real person, not just another patient to deal with. I have seen other orthopedic doctors, but none compare to Dr. Sessions. I am still hoping I can find where he is located at now. Thank you!

I would strongly recommend Dr. Sessions. He pieced my hand back together after a devastating injury, his expertise and care are key in my recovery. He is kind and caring. He volunteered to speak with my mother from the emergency room, she is 2000 miles away. I saw him at least 10 times and every time he was knowledgeable, genuine, and friendly. He understands the importance of support in the aftercare. I felt Dr. Sessions was staunch in every way, he has my back in every step. Thank you, Blane

I was relieved to hear he was fired from The Hand Center. He hadn't bothered to really listen & mis-diagnosed my condition. The info in the initial report proves this as he claims I had trigger finger in both hands. The pain which I had was in both my palms & feet & it was due to a magnesium deficiency, not trigger finger. Besides, I had never mentioned having any problems with my fingers, so how did he come up with trigger finger as the problem? He hadn't paid attention.

I've seen Dr Sessions three times in the last year, most recent was in Feb. 2017 for ganglion cyst surgery on my hand, he did a great job and I followed up 10 days later for suture removal, it's now been 6 weeks since my surgery and I'm still having so much pain and discomfort in my hand especially at night it keeps me awake. So I called his office today to schedule an appointment and they informed me that he is no longer with their practice. So not sure what to do. Anybody knows where he went?

Dr. Sessions assessed my fractured finger and hand. He also cared for my husband when he severed his finger in a home project accident as well as carpal tunnel surgery. We both highly recommend Dr. Sessions. He is an expert in his field and great follow-up. His office and support staff are outstanding as well.

There is NOTHING not to LOVE about Dr. Sessions. Plain and simple. Do yourself a favor - go injure your hand (if you haven't already), and make an appointment ASAP. You'll thank me in the end. It's so refreshing to know a physician as competent, dedicated, and compassionate as Dr. Sessions. His rapport with patients is exemplary. Not a discouraging word can be said. Nada.
