Dr. MacBeath's bio

This content was provided by Dr. MacBeath "Dr. Blair MacBeath is a Family Medicine physician who practices at the ETMC Medicine Clinic in Pittsburg, Texas."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. MacBeath "After three decades of practice in an office at ETMC Pittsburg, Blair R. MacBeath, MD, has joined ETMC First Physicians so he can concentrate more on patients and less on paperwork.

He hasn't changed his address, phone or approach to medicine. He remembered Pittsburg seeming like a big city when he came here fresh out of medical school in his native Canada. "I grew up on a farm. I was country when country wasn't cool."

Today his patients know him on a first-name basis. He knows everybody in town. Everybody calls him Blair. He is just an easygoing guy who relates to people well.

Through his career he's noticed a change in the perspective of his patients."People are more focused on health than disease now. When I graduated it was totally disease management. Now it's evolved into health management. It's a good thing.""

He would not listen to our needs, sent for tests then referred us to the wrong specialist. I would leave zero stars if I could. I will never refer friends or family here. This was a waste of time and caused more frustration than anything.
