    Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

    Dr. Borders says...

For twenty-two years, cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Blaine M. Borders has served Northeast Louisiana, affirming high professional, ethical, moral, religious, and family values in all aspects of the medicine he has practiced. His newest effort to serve our communities has been through the establishment of the Heart, Lung and Vascular Clinic.

Our clinic has a reputation for pursuing the latest advances in technique and technology, and with his extensive surgical experience. It is more than his surgical skill that attracts patients to the Heart Lung and Vascular Clinic; it is our devotion to God, belief in prayer, and commitment to address each patient's physical and spiritual needs and to treat them with the utmost skill and compassion. Dr. Borders and the Heart, Lung and Vascular Clinic team are dedicated to provide patients with better long-term results and fewer complications.

Leg pain is at the forefront of our treatment options at the Heart Lung and Vascular Clinic. Differentiation of arterial and venous disease is our goal. We have less invasive treatments for arterial disease as well as outpatient vein care and specialized deep venous treatments.

Dr. Borders specializes in treatment and surgical intervention of peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, heart surgery, and lung surgery.

Clinic locations include The Complete Cardiovascular Care Center, Franklin Medical Center Offices and The Glenwood Medical Mall..
