My experience was a disastrous with this Doctor as I relied on the above reviews and went for treatment for Gastric issues but I am ended up harming my kidney due to the medications (PPI) prescribed by him and now trying to overcome this with additional treatment for the kidney health recovery and it has affected my personal life financially and physically. Please don't rely on the reviews and my sincere request to this doctor is to listen to the patient’s concerns when reported about some changes after taking medication.

Almost 4 years ago, I had a Whipple procedure done at Johns Hopkins. Since the surgery I experienced crippling abdominal pain 4-5 times per month each episode lasting several hours. My J-H surgeons told me it was scar tissue and there was nothing that could be done. Oxycodone was my only option. My PCP referred me to Dr. Sandhu who was far more creative than the hot shots in Baltimore. He cured me of my "whipple pains" through a series of procedures that others wouldn't even attempt. Life altering. I could not ask for more from a doctor. I highly recommend him.

I moved here from out of state and needed a good Dr that is familiar with autoimmune hepatitis treatment. I am also pastdue for a colonoscopy. Dr Sandhu is very knowledgeable about my multiple issues including cancer. He allayed any fears that I had and answered all of my questions in a way that I and my husband could easily understand. Colonoscopy and an endoscopy are scheduled very soon! All of their staff are very friendly, caring and organized and get things done.

Dr. Sandhu reviewed a med scan which was referred to him. The scan was for coughing and possible cold symptoms. He discovered an early stage of cancer on my pancreas. The test was for a different reason. He took time to contact my PCP and began the process of saving my life. Today I am cancer free because of his overview and taking time to care.

There are simply not enough stars for Dr. Sandhu - and equally important, his team! Linda, is amazing! She has an uncanny way of making one feel as though 'they' are her most important patient of the day (albeit booked solid with appointments.) I'm so grateful to have met she and Dr. Sandhu, a medical team that truly is there for the patient - particularly refreshing AND rare these days. I also had the pleasure of meeting with their newest team member, Laura Koon, PA-C,-Wow - 5 stars as well!

Dr. Sandhu is a very smart man. In no time at all he had my heartburn & indigestion remedied. The insurance company decided after Several years that a new medication was necessary, so they declined my Rx and "suggested" the pharmacy contact Dr. Sandhu for approval. That medicine makes me ill and I have stopped taking it. Going back to Dr. Sandhu to see if there's anything he can do to help me again.

I have known Dr. Sandhu for approx 9 years. My ex husband needed multiple dilation procedures as well as a feeding tube placement and management of feedings. We were referred to Dr. Sandhu and couldn't have been more impressed. So much so that I have become a patient of his. He is personable yet professional, very kind, skillful and patient. It's evident that he truly cares for his patients. I'm a retired nurse and a fairly tough sell but I would highly recommend Dr. Sandhu and I have.

Dr. Sandhu unfortunately had to perform 3 (maybe 4) endoscopes on my mom do to a series of complicated events. From the moment we met Dr Sandhu, my brother and I could not have been more pleased with this wonderful physician. He met us not only to share results, draw diagrams, show slides, but to comfort us. We are so truly grateful for this spectacular doctor, and human being. We have never been to the office so some of these are blank!

Dr. Sandhu was highly recommended as the most skilled and competent to conduct an EGD procedure on me since previous procedures had not been successful. He met the goal to open my esophagus which has allowed me to enjoy a better quality of life. He always reported his findings and even called me at home to follow up. Other families and nurses freely declare he is their physician of choice, especially if there are any extenuating circumstances because he will perform creatively and skillfully.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sandhu he is reassuring and very understanding of how his patient is feeling. I only met him right before my procedure and felt comfortable and calm knowing he was performing the removal of a polyp. I had some questions after when I was home and he called me right back not his nurse but him . There should be more compassionate doctors he is terrific !
