I've only had one visit with Dr. Parmar so far and was not impressed. He was very dismissive of my other medical conditions and seemed rushed. In short order, based on an ekg, said I have no heart problem but did not address the massive body swelling that my P.C. Dr said was the result of a minor heart attack. Said he would schedule an echo cardiogram just to be safe. I waited 7 months for a brief uninformed accomplish nothing appointment!

We did a Zoom visit. He sat in front of a window so I could only see his outline. I felt that he didn't take me seriously as when he first joined me he asked how I had managed to get an appointment with him, even though my medical notes would have told him the emergency doctor told me to see him. He didn't acknowledge until the very end of our brief visit that I had concerns. Rather, he kept saying my heart was fine since the EKG didn't reveal any problems He didn't answer my questions, but in the end told me I didn't need a stress test, but that he would order one just to make me feel better. I am not sure why he was so uncaring. He is probably very stressed at dealing with the Corona Virus situation.

We did a telephone visit. Went very smoothly. We covered all my questions. Discussed my lab results. He asked me his questions. Discussion was comfortable and relaxing. I feel his willingness to do this at this time with the virus so prevalent was a Godsend. I so highly recommend Dr. Parmar.
