've been going to Dr. Betty since I was 17, I'm now almost 24. She was the first doctor that took the time to find out why I had uncontrollable weight gain my entire life. She took the time to dig deeper and do more tests than any other endocrinologist i had been to and was finally able to diagnose me with hashimoto's thyroiditis. Throughout the past almost 7 years she's helped me stabilize my thyroid levels, monitor my immune system, and help me on my journey with losing the excess weight I had gained, among many other things. I was declining at such a rapid rate when I started coming to her that I can honestly say this woman saved my life. And she never once judged me for being overweight. If I came in and it showed I gained weight we would talk about what happened and she would offer advice and solutions to combat it. When I came in and it showed I lost weight she would come in with a big smile and tell me I was doing fantastic. She's been nothing but an awesome, encouraging doctor.

I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to her OR the Uof L physicians group period. She has done more damage to my body in one visit than years of this disease has done! She couldn't speak comprehensible English. She mixed up VERY IMPORTANT words. She has caused me to go into major Adrenal Crisis and then could not be reached for WEEKS! While I laid here half dead and so miserable she was galavanting around the country. Her"treatment" caused me to go into kidney failure. Hey staff is an even bigger insult!

Many doctors don't want to treat me because I come with so many complication. I'm hard to deal with at times. I have major trust issues, from being rejected so much by the medical field. Dr. Villa is so patient with me. She listen to your concern and she genuially cares. She explains treatment plans and allows you to make the right choice with her. She is soft spoken and easy to communicate with. Her medical assistance are just as caring. She's keeping alive. She's an amazing doctor.

We have been seeing dr v for many years. My daughter has a pituitary gland dysfunction . Her body did not produce growth hormones. Or female hormones. She's has osteoporosis. She has multiple other dysfunctions. On the complimentary side, dr v was able to diagnose and treat manY of her problems successfully. She was a great help to her life. However, in the past couple of years dr v has grown very impersonal and her notes are not usually up to date. i am no longer happy there. Office staff disor
