Well, my wife had seen doctor Ong, and she was pretty happy. With that I decided to see him for my knee. He worked on it but, in about almost 6 weeks after, I was having pain in the same knee. I called the office, and the person I spoke to said it was too far out from when he did the surgery and that I would have to come back in and start a new claim. I asked what the cut off time to say I'm still having pain after surgery. She said, and I quote, "about 30 days". I said so I have to start with all new copays and deductables, she said yes. So would I go back? No! Would I recommend doctor Ong? Probably not, but my wife was happy, me not so much. If you are still having pain after surgery, remember, you have "about 30 days", to let them know. I broke my hip, and as that doctor and I started talking, I told him about my knee and doctor Ong. He thought it was pretty crappy that they wanted me to start from the beginning rather than just see what was up with the knee. Good luck everyone.

I am not sure how this guy has 4.4 star rating. After I had my torn meniscus surgery and I did not get any relief he decided to do injections (which probably should been tried prior to surgery???) on three different occasions. After the surgery, injections and 2 additional MRI's his answer was this..."I don't know what's wrong" which is the last time I saw Mr. Ong. 4 years later I am just learning to love with it.

My wife just completed her second knee replacement. She and I could have not asked for a better outcome and professional experience. Summerlin Hospital staff knew every thing Dr. Ong would want my wife to receive. He is very understanding of my wife concerns and answered all questions. His office staff is well trained in the way he wants the procedure's to be completed. If we had to rate him from 0 - 10, he would get an 11.

Today I had my 6-month follow-up appointment with Dr. Ong for my knee replacement. As I explained to Dr. Ong, I am so happy with the outcome. I am 70 years old and am now back to my regular workouts with activities that include hour walks, swimming laps, rowing, stationary bike, elliptical, spinning, kickboxing, aerobics and leg strength-training. I feel great and am so glad to be active again. Dr. Ong is very professional and seems to really care about his patients. I am so lucky to have selected him to do my surgery.

Dr Ong always ensured that I was keeping up my physical therapy and also recommended exercises that aided in my recovery. His office was always clean and the staff were very accommodating. I was referred to Dr. Ong by my Family Doctor. My experience started with the friendly and warm welcome from his receptionist when making my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was welcome with a smile and addressed by my name. The x-ray tech was friendly, professional, caring and provided information. His medical assistant is wonderful. From interaction with his staff I felt comfortable that he would be good. Well I was 100% correct, Dr. Ong is just outstanding, he’s personal but professional, he listens but provides information. When I am ready for surgery I know I will be in excellent hands. If you looking for a doctor I highly recommends Doctor Ong, trust me you will not be disappointed.

Recently had my knee replaced. Dr Ong and his staff--both in the office and in the operating room--are some of the best I've encountered. All are extremely professional, prompt, kind, and courteous. Having had multiple surgeries for sports related injuries, I am keenly aware that there are "less than excellent" surgeons out there. Not the case with Dr Ong. He is Incredibly thorough and detail oriented. Great bedside manner, and informative during entire process. Very highly recommend to anyone c

I met Dr. Ong by way of a few Judges that I work with at Municipal Court when considering having my knee replaced. He was pleasant with great bedside manners. After confirming that my knee needed to be replaced he too out a mold of with the new knee would look like and how the procedure would be performed. I was elated that I didn't have to pull out my list of 20 questions "literally." My knee was replaced on January 31st and I decided to name her "Sally.; The surgery went well!

Went to Dr Ong for a knee replacement. Surgery was on 3/29/16. I cannot be more pleased with the care and attention Dr Ong gave me. I knew I had chosen well when I checked into Summerlin Hospital and without prompting everyone I came into contact with mentioned how much they liked Dr Ong! It's now mid-October and I'm probably at 90% with my recovery. Back at the gym and doing Pilates with no pain. Dr Ong's staff is equally as fantastic as the doc - they know what they're doing over there.

I Could kiss this Doctor and his staff's feet. They are all soooo nice, sympathetic and warm. From the receptionists, to the x-ray tech., to the medical assistant and last, but, not least, the wonderful, Dr. Ong. He is very knowledgable and has a great bedside manner. He discovered things in my fractured shoulder that neither the emergency doctor, nor the first orthopedic surgeon that they sent me to did. I have had horrible medical care since moving to Vegas a year ago, except for a few.
