What an absolute quack! Waited nearly an hour to be seen while suffering from a severe migraine, massive nausea and photophobia. Blood pressure was taken inaccurately, and was taken to an office rather than a dark, cool patient room. Dr. Bernard Drexinger never formally examined me. No vitals taken, no pain score questions, and when I informed him that I was on blood thinner treatment and felt somewhat emotionally unstable during my migraine attacks, he prescribed meds w/suicidal side effects.

Very thorough. Very knowledgeable. Takes time to thoroughly review results and treatments. But as a result, he always runs late.

I recommend the Doctor only, not the clinic. If you can see Drexinger, wonderful but the wait times are awful, the staff if poorly organized and non-responsive. My wife waited 3 hours. I waited 2 hours with a phone call response, none came. IF you can bulldoze your way through nonsense, he is worth it.

He is the twelfth neurologist I have seen for this problem over many years. The only one who seemed to listen or care about helping me get better. Thanks to him and his staff, I finally have a life again!

Zero. Doctor and staff is not responsive at all. We are waiting on test results for over 1 MONTH. Have called his office 9 times and got NOWHERE. Doctor got results next day and was supposed to review over the weekend. NOTHING....... Have talked to front office, office manager and his nurse. No response... Worst patient care and follow up.
in Woodstock, GA |
Extremely long wait time for an early morning appointment. He was late arriving and kept me waiting over 3.5 hours. No excuse... I asked and was told there was no medical emergency ahead of me. Staff does not manage him or his daily schedule at all well. Feel sorry for the new office manager but am not at all surprised the old one was replaced. No change in schedule management means this is Dr. Drexinger's fault. Advise? RETIRE!
in Atlanta, GA |
Dr. Drexinger is OK as a physician, although a bit flippant and I dont believe he is very thorough. He is EXTREMELY disorganized and has no clue how to manage time and has seemingly no respect for his patients schedules. He is ALWAYS 1-3 hours late past his appointment times - there is no point to schedule an appointment or if you do, just show up two hours later and you will still have to wait. His office staff takes no responsibility for the scheduling issues. DO NOT GO HERE!
