This doctor may well have saved my life. She actually listened to me relate my case history, which proved diagnostically critical. Two other physicians, both specialists in the same field, did not.

I went to Dr. Hughes due to continued headaches after what should have been a mild concussion. She only asked about my main concern or two and didn't even glance at, let alone look in depth at, the symptoms chart that I had to complete. Rather than focus on my headaches, she made me sound like a psychopath who has no business doing the job I'm in and pretty said it is a psychological matter and that I should be over the concussion by now. She left me feeling defeated and gave me no answers.

I only briefly met with this completely inept person but it was more than enough to gain full perspective of her character. I was understandably upset at my ongoing illness upon meeting Dr. Hughes, Instead of being empathetic to patients suffering illness this sociopath made the comment " usually patients don't cry until after I tell them they're dying, then laughed. I had to travel out of state for help with brain damage. this woman should be barred from medicine, I have no doubts she will be

Didn't have a professional appearance and horrible bedside manner. Disappointed since primary referred to this office but since she was only one with openings sooner, that explains why. Should have waited the extra month to get in with different doctor as that visit was waste of time since now I'm going to someone else for second opinion anyway. In my opinion she also hasn't stayed up to date with recent studies and make sure that what you want to be seen for is her specialty or she knows about

I saw her a number of times, the first few pleasant enough. The last few times were horrid. The last time I saw her was the last straw. I left her office in tears because of the harsh things that she said. She mentioned having taken a number of psychology courses and said that I had depression. Yes, I do. She then proceeded to ask me what I would do if my mother were to suddenly die, if I planned to live homeless on the streets. I will never, ever go see her again nor would I suggest her.

Dr. Hughes listens, she is very knowledgeable, warm and honest. In my experience she looks at you as a whole person, not an illness. She wasn't quick to prescribe or perform unnecessary tests.
