The disappointment I had to endure from his office staff and he, is remarkable to say the least. RA will always be there so choose to go to people who want to be there for you and your RA. Don't mull over the constant disappointment like I did from being at this place. Run away from here with your RA!

Glad primary-care doctor referred to Dr. Nercessian after dermatologist recommended rheumatologist while investigating Raynaud's Phenomenon! From old school in good ways -- good listener, takes an efficient history, applies wide, deep experience and knowledge in related areas. Had another young medical professional accompanying him; glad he's sharing his expertise that way -- positively impacts the overall dialogue. His office staff was helpful in resolving a discrepancy with insurance company.

Dr. Nercessian himself was not all that bad, but he does struggle mightily with being able to communicate accurately with patients. The real reason for my review today is the staff at his office. Never in my life have I dealt with someone that has such a horrible attitude. Complaining about your job to patients? There's simply no place for that. Not willing to do the most basic of paperwork so your patients can receive their prescribed medicines? This woman should be absolutely ashamed of hersel
Royal Oak, MI |
2nd time going to this doctor and he has no regard for trying to find the problem unless maybe it's obvious. 1st time he says "go to physical therapy" since he doesn't know what the issue is and 2nd time around for a different issue, he actually told me to go see another Rheumatologist because he doesn't know (and didn't care enough to run tests to try to determine the issue). Never again. Also, his front desk staff is less than pleasant.

His patient manners were great, I immediately felt comfortable with him, HOWEVER, after draining my right knee today, this evening I have the fluid building up again. I'm not sure he drained it completely.
