At every step from diagnosis to followup after surgery, Dr. Widmer takes the time to educate the patient about what is happening. I am excited about the MD-therapist teamwork and the written materials I was given.

Dr Widmer is one of the rudest Dr’s I have ever met. He exudes the belief that his patients are stupid or liars I saw Dr Widmer for a shoulder injury after an industrial accident. He performed a botched surgery which resulted in me having to seek surgery from a better sugeon (Dr Brian Fukushima). When I started seeing Dr Widmer my shoulder was extremely loose, popped like crazy, hurt all of the time and couldn’t bear weight above ten lbs. I tried to explain all of this to Dr Widmer and that I

I saw Dr. Widmer for less than 60 seconds. He was going to review my MRI, he sent in a PA to do it. The PA basically told me there is nothing wrong and I should try stretching. I guess the shooting pain is all in my head. He saw me for about a minute to give me a shot.

Dr. Widmer was a GREAT surgeon and my procedure & outcome was terrific! Going into my surgery we had expected two tears of the tendons and various degrees of arthritis & bone spurs. When I woke up I was pleased he didn't go over board with repairs and instead found that I only had lots of arthritis & significant bone spurs that required an extra incision but far less "fixing" and my recovery has been wonderful. His office staff was always great and I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Widmer!

It would have been nice to know that I wouldn't be able to be seen for my ailment/questions at the time I made the appointment, especially since I have a HSA and I pay for the full balance of all my appointments. When I called to make my appointment I had 2 things that I wanted to have checked out it wasn't until I was there they told me I could only be seen for one.
