Dr. Currie was great Answered all questions and discussed my surgical procedure and follow up to my satisfaction. All staff members were vey courteous, knowledgeable and competent. Practice is very busy, but seems to be run very efficiently. Good time management of appointments. Really appreciated the personal follow up phone call from both the nurse and Dr. Currie that afternoon and evening after surgery. Very satisfied with the entire experience and outcome of my cataract surgery.

Dr. Benjamin gave my wife a very comprehensive exam on first visit. He clearly explained every surgery option after we watched a video on Laser assisted surgery. He did not push one of them on us, but listened to us and it was easy to make a choice for her. A far vision lens with Laser Assist. The Staff was very pleasant to deal with, surgery day went well and to my surprise, they replaced one lens in her glasses with a custom cut regular lens until her new glasses come in. The next day follow-up visit went well and so did the 3 week check-up visit. Overall, my wife is very happy and so am I. I assisted her with this review because of memory problems. (Larry F. My care could not have been better. He answered any questions I had, even my interesting ones about band rehearsal, going to a concert the same day as surgery, and a purple light. ??

Holland Eye Clinic is very busy office. Dr. Currie was very kind and respectful as he monitored my cataracts and offered surgical options when I felt ready to take the step. I knew he was confident in his ability as he had done the surgery many times but it was my first time. My experience was great and my outcome is excellent. After wearing glasses for more than forty years, I no longer need them. Thank you Dr. Currie.

Dr Currie performed cataract laser surgery on both eyes in late September and early November 2020. The surgeries were both very successful. I am extremely satisfied with the results of the surgery. I now have great vision in both eyes with new mono vision lenses. The staff are all exceptional. High marks to each and every one of them.

I was referred to Holland Eye Clinic for cateracts surgery and i was very happy with the whole process and their outstanding staff. From the reception staff at the front desk who all laughed at the nervous jokes I told and helped me find some valuable information online, the eye techs doing the preliminary work for the Dr, the scheduler Jana who went above and beyond in explaining and making sure I understood all my options and getting the necessary paperwork done and returned to my employer, the surgical staff making patients feel very at ease and comfortable with their pre and post surgical care, all the way to Dr Currie who was very professional and very patient and caring in the manner in which he carried out his duties of assessing and correcting my vision. To all at the Holland Eye Clinic, I give my heartfelt gratitude and say thank you to everyone. PS Thank you for the 2 cans of Sprite. They were the best I've ever had...

Cataract Surgery was performed in both eyes and I am 100% happy with the treatment I received from Dr Currie and all the staff in the surgical wing and the follow-up teams. I was nervous, (as would be expected) at the first surgery but it was a piece of cake. The second surgery was anxiety free. There was mild sedation provided and I was in and out of the surgery in no time. The Holland Eye Surgery & Laser Center does a lot of cataract surgeries and they have really worked out the various steps in the procedures. Two weeks after surgery all is healing well and my vision is 20/25 in both eyes and the colors and clarity of my vision are significantly improved.

I met with Dr. Currie for a pre-surgery visit where he examined my eyes and explained the different options for my surgery. He was very thorough in explaining the pros and cons of each choice. He never put any pressure on me to choose any particular option- in fact he set me up with another appt where I was again given an explanation and choice with a different staff member. On the day(s) of surgery Dr. Currie specifically reviewed what exactly was going to happen and I am totally happy with the results. His follow-up visits were also thorough and satisfactory. I would heartily recommend Dr. Currie for your cataract surgery.

Excellent! I called Dr. Currie on a Friday evening (holiday weekend) when I was experiencing new concerning symptoms. He spent a good amount of time explaining what to look for as well as referring me to my own doctor, suggesting I get an appointment Monday. To my surprise, Dr. Currie called me Saturday morning to ask how I was doing. He then offered to see me at his office that afternoon as he was going to meet another patient there. I had a much better weekend thanks to Dr. Currie’s eye exam and diagnosis/prognosis. Words to describe him? Kind, patient, gentle, reassuring. Thank you Dr. Currie!
