Dr. Benjamin Citrin, MD
Dr. Ben Citrin is the founder of Citrin Cardiology, P.C. A college graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC, he completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Citrin is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. He is a former board member of both the local and regional divisions of the American Heart Association as well as the Mobile County Medical Society, Community Bank, and Wilmer Hall Home for Children. Dr. Citrin is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. In addition to offering educational seminars to the public, he is a local supporter of such organizations as The Salvation Army, The Providence Hospital Foundation, Make-A-Wish Alabama, L'Arche Mobile, Children's Advocacy Center, St. Paul's Episcopal School, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Dr. Citrin and his wife, Julie, reside in Mobile with their four boys.
