This means that there are multiple specialists involved in the treatment of pain disorders. These include pain physicians, anesthesiologists, psychiatrists, surgeons, chiropractors, nursing specialist, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and others. Many of these specialists require inputs into the care of a patient with complex painful conditions and disorders, which generally is a continuum of symptoms and pathology. "
