I can vouch for previous complaints about the obnoxious office manager. She makes mistakes then berates and blames the patient. What an awful person.

I called the office because my mom was in the hospital and I asked Dr. Balot to see her during his rounds that day and to call me I was yelled at for ten mins. by his wife saying my mom was fine and coming home soon. She said there were people dying and my mom was not a priority, she's fine. P.S. I'm burying my mom on Monday. Thank you Mrs. Balot. How do you sleep at night?

Love the practice. Both Dr. Balots are excellent physicians. I have been seeing both of them for over 2 years now. Dr. David Balot cared for myself and my father while we were ill at good sam. His bedside manor and compassionate presence is unlike any other doctor we interacted with. He is truly a fantastic doctor!

Dr. Balot is a great G.P. I hadn't had a regular doctor for years, and would go to Immediate Care as needed, but I'm glad to have found him. Having a regular doctor is much better than relying on services that don't really know you. He definitely is interested in coordinating your care for the long term. He is excellent at drawing blood, he's an excellent diagnostician, and I know he cares. I feel lucky to have found him. I've been with him for a few years now, and he's never let me down.

My first visit Dr. Balot was nice enough but I felt rushed and he took a cell phone call in the midde without excusing himself. He finally came back (still on the phone) and dismissed me. My following visits were brutal as Karen was extremely rude and told me I could not see the doctor since I was between insurances, although on the phone she told me I could self pay. She made me very upset so I left. I was forced to return for tests/vaccines for graduate school but I will never return

I would like to say that I have met Dr. Balot, however, after dealing with his unprofessional and absolutely obnoxious office manager ( I think her name is Karen), I would never go to that office even if they gave away their services. Her lack of common manners was appalling. Family members of mine that have since left Dr. Balot's practice always waited at least an hour to get a 5 minute exam and that is just another reason for me to never go.

I will say that Dr. Balot and his nurses are excellent and very friendly. His office staff on the other hand are the absolute worse. I have never been treated so badly in my life. They are rude, nasty, and very inefficient They convenient lose very important papers such as test results from specialists claiming they haven't received them. Meanwhile, I am physically watching the person fax it Three women and they are all bad. I think he should get rid of all three and get a new office staff..

Dr. Balot is an excellent physician. He was recommended to me by a neurologist who was currently treating my husband. From the moment I met him he made me feel very comfortable and i felt at ease that this man was going to take the best of care of me. His bed side manner was superb and his office staff were very helpful. I have recommended Dr. Balot to my entire family and i truly believe he is one of the most devoted caring physicians out there.

I needed a referral to visit my dermatologist. I even followed up later to make sure it had been sent. I wasted an afternoon off work due to this as my dermatologist did not receive it therefore could not see me. I physically went to Dr. Balot's office (more lost time and money) at which time the staff told me that the dermatologist must have lost it, then they were unable to find my file. The front desk person flippantly told me to relax instead of apologizing and taking responsibility.
