Dr. Arshad is a dedicated, caring, knowledgeable, smart and effective medical provider. She takes a personal interest in her patients and treats them as individuals rather than numbers. In my particular medical case, she was so persistent in doing all that was medically available in successfully bringing my AFIB under control.

I have been a patient of Dr. Arshad for almost 5 years. She is excellent, caring, thorough and always available when I’ve had an issue. She gives clear guidance. I’ve needed several procedures which she had performed with skill. My wife and I have complete confidence in her judgment and recommendations. We are comfortable with her. I was not comfortable with the EP I had before her, so much so that I sought a new EP as I needed another ablation. I’m so glad I found her, as she immediately recommended a loop recorder to monitor my heart rhythms

Dr. Arshad inspired confidence in her competence and professionalism from our very first meeting, and I have heard nothing but accolades about her from others since then. She inserted a loop recorder over my heart a year ago in Vienna, VA, and performed a cardiac ablation for me at Fairfax Hospital in November 2020. Everything went as she assured me it would, and I am forever grateful for her skills, experience, and caring attitude. If you find yourself in need of her services, be assured that you have chosen one of the best in the field! I would not recommend her to you if I didn’t feel confident that this is true.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and arrhythmias by my neurologist, and was referred to a Cardiologist. That's when I met Dr. Arshad. During our visit she recommended various treatment options for my arrhythmias and what to expect during my subsequent testing. She explained how nutrition, fitness, weight, and stress management play key roles in my overall health and well being. I jus wanted to share my experience with Dr. Arshad!! I would recommend Dr. Arshad highly to anyone in need of a Cardiac Electrophysiologist in VA. She's compassionate, knowledgable and worked with me to explore the best options for my health.

I see Dr. Arshad at the Carient clinic on Church Street in Vienna, VA. She is pleasant enough during office visits, which is reassuring, but attempting to get a response from her through Carient's on-line MyCart system is frustratingly ineffective. I have made several attempts to ask questions without success. Only if I copy my message another more senior doctor in the same clinic do I get a reply. I have NEVER had a reply from her. Moreover, since I went under her care after my previous electro cardiologist left the clinic, I feel that my cardiac health has deteriorated. She compelled me to undergo "emergency" pacemaker implantation last Fall (and she was too busy to do it, so she handed the task off to another physician). Adverse side effects of that procedure put me in cardiac ICU for three days. Months later I am frequently lightheaded after only mild exertion. I have asked for help and information and have received no replies.

I personally liked Dr Arshad, however my Phenric nerve was pinged during the ablation. My quality of life since it was done on 10/24/19 has been awful. Even tho I’m better I can’t do anything without being out of breath. During this time of year I have lots to do being a grandmother of 24 but can’t shop, do anything. If I had to do over I’d read the risks and not have it done. I’m really depressed and frustrated from all this.

Thirteen months ago, I begin to experience a shortness of breath and dizziness and had no clue as to why. I when to the hospital and was treated for dehydration on two occasions and released. After the third episode, I went to the Primary Care Doctor who suspected heart trouble and was referred to Carient Heart and Vascular and Cardiologist Doctor Aysha Arshad performed several preliminary test and discovered the issue. Several gave me several options to include and oblation which I choose. Without question and under no uncertain terms, Doctor Arshad save my life to a point that I can now return, at age 66, to jogging 8 miles 5 day each week. She constantly monitors my heart progression and is the epitome of the Greek Physician Hippocrates' Hippocratic oath, to wit: “To keep the good of the patient as the highest priority.” Thanks to Doctor Arshad, I have returned to a normal life as though nothing has never happened. Thanks Doc for saving my life!!!
