This content was provided by Dr. Hamed "Dr. Hamed is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He received his medical degree from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Hamed completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at St. Francis Medical Center and Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA (currently known as University of Pittsburgh). He practiced medicine full time at Baton Rouge Ochsner Health System specializing in treating musculoskeletal pain and electrodiagnosis. Dr. Hamed served as Head of Department of Physical Medicine & Rehab. More recently, he practiced medicine in the Hammond and Denham Springs areas. Dr. Hamed currently owns a private practice in the Greater Baton Rouge area. He holds extensive training and broad experience in a wide range of interventional techniques and advanced procedures, and has a special interest and expertise in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Hamed is a diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation."

Never refer him again. Several times I've been to his office and he's always late. Sometimes up to 3 hours late. Everyone in there complaining. A lady in wheelchair sitting there for THREE hours. I felt he was unprofessional. Had kids running in room while patient was talking to doctor and his nurses interrupted by wanting to talk about their financial troubles at a bank. I have been in pain for4 years and it did not set well with me when he thought the kid and nurse were more important to...more
