I have arthritis in my hips and can hardly move anymore. Dr. Abdeen does not care what I look like clinically and wants me to be a total cripple, she was very vicious about not offering hip replacements. She said to get more therapy, which I am no longer capable of and to get injections which have not helped me more than a day. If you want a caring doctor stay away from her.

with no disrespect meant,, I referred to Dr. abdeen as the miracle worker.. It has been six years since she did a total knee replacement. I was in incredible pain and even when a cane could not get around that good.it only took one visit for her to determine what had to be done. Till this day. My knee is as good or better than it has ever been in my entire life. She has an incredible reputation and now I understand why.....

I had a total hip replacement performed by Dr. Abdeen. She is an excellent surgeon who is very easy to talk with. Her explanations are very clear and she answers all questions. My hip replacement was very successful and she is continuing to follow the arthritic condition in my other hip and my knee. I highly recommended her and her team.

Dr. Abdeen & her team are excellent! The skills they have and the care they give to their patients are wonderful. I was very well cared for prior to my hip replacement, during my stay and follow-up. Being in the hospital under her care was like 2 days at a spa. Thank you!

I recently had total hip replacement surgery with Dr. Abdeen. I felt totally comfortable, at ease and extremely fortunate with my decision to have Dr Abdeen perform my surgery. At my visits she was very caring and kind . I never felt rushed at all as we went over my long list of questions. Her PA Joshua was also very kind and helpful and never rushed through explanations. Also phone calls are returned... and in a short time frame.

Dr. Abdeen replaced my knee joint. She is truly a remarkable surgeon, and person. I highly recommend her for your surgery. Dr. Abdeen visited me each day after surgery. I am very pleased, just wish I had done this sooner.

Doctor Abdeen has operated on me twice. Once for a hip replacement and the second time for a knee replacement. It's been 14 weeks since my knee replacement and I'm doing great. After surgery I had both in home physical therapy for 3 weeks and then outpatient for about 4 weeks. The outpatient therapist told me that I was doing better after 7 weeks than anyone he had seen. I highly recommend Dr. Abdeen for any hip or knee replacement. I give her a 10.

In 2016, Dr. Abdeen replaced my right knee. After therapy, I was moving and doing things normally, in 4 mos. My left knee was just as bad. I was getting up in age and decided, to have the left knee done. A year later, Feb., 2017, I did just that. I was mowing my, lawn and doing yard work 6 weeks after surgery, not to mention losing over 100 lbs. I saw Dr. Abdeen yesterday for both knee assessment, and they're perfect. If you need an experienced, doctor for this type of surgery, she's IT.

Had both knees done by Dr. Abdeen and was very pleased with the result. Sorry I put it off for so long. Am going back to her for my hip replacement. If you need joint replacement, look no further, as she is an amazing, talented, compassionate doctor. I am constantly recommending her to anyone who needs joint replacement.

I was nervous about my hip replacement until I met Dr. Abdeen. Upon meeting her, I felt reassured, educated and well-supported for my surgery. My recovery was excellent and quicker than anticipated due to the type of operation Dr. Abdeen performed on me, and the excellent staff who help her patients. My visitors were very impressed with the care I received. A year later, I am looking forward to having my other hip replaced by Dr. Abdeen. I wholeheartedly recommend her care to family & friends.

I had my right knee replaced 14 years ago by a different Dr. In October of 2017 I had my left knee replaced by Dr. Abdeen. I could not be more pleased with the results. I have better flexion and extension than I could have imagined. Far superior to my first knee replacement. .I would highly recommend Dr. Abdeen .

After years of pain with sports injuries both hips and knees I was told that I would need to replace them as soon as possible, however fear kept me from having the needed operations. There is an old saying that " pain is a great motivator" and it was. I called Dr. Abdeen's office telling her staff that I couldn't take it anymore and that I need to come in soon. To my shock and surprise I was called into her next available appointment and the operation went well. Best thing I could have done. TY!

Dr. Abdeen led me through a knee replacement in September. I found her to listen carefully, offer options, and carefully outline the process. I am anxious and I wanted to find an orthopedic surgeon, who was a woman, who did knee surgery - not easy! I was impressed and encouraged by Dr. Abdeen's explanation of the problem and solutions. She uses best practices, and I had a superior experience at Beth Israel. I can confidently recommend her to anyone - no need to deal with pain any longer.

Dr. Ayesha Abdeen is an excellent surgeon. The pre-operative times were educational and straightforward, her post-op attention, conscientious and thorough. I got a new hip, was up and walking without crutches or a walker the next day. After 4 months of steady PT and focus, I am back to biking, dancing and swimming. Couldn't have been better.

I saw some reviews that Dr. Abdeen was unkind. I didn't care as long as she was a good surgeon. I didn't want tea and crumpets with her, I wanted to walk again. I had a total knee replacement by Dr. Abdeen on July 24, 2017. Every day she checked in on me in the hospital, was kind, and answered questions, but the best part was her skill in surgery. I am close to three weeks now post op, am bending at 115 degrees, and can walk without any device, even though I am told to use a cane or one crutch

I had been struggling for the past five years with pain in my hips and knees. I had gone to other orthopedic surgeons who gave me no recommendations for my hips, just tried to "sell" me on knee arthroscopy. The first time I met Dr. Abdeen she spent 45 minutes with me answering some pretty detailed questions. She helped me develop a strategy. I am now sitting in BIDMC post op where Dr. Abdeen replaced my hip She has come to see me twice. She's fantasyic. Strongly recommend.

My sister went to her for a knee replacement. Although the replacement went fine, she is without a doubt the most uncaring, uncompassionate medical professional I've ever witnessed. She didn't care if her patient was in pain....She's ignorant , rude, condescending, horrible human being. I am having my knee done now as well and I would NEVER go to her I don't care how good her work is!!!!
