I met Dr. Avesh Verma while I was a patient at the hospital. He was called in because of my seizures. He knew exactly what was going on with me. He started medication for me so that I would not have any more seizures. I am very impressed with Dr. Verma. He was so kind, knowledge. After he ordered my tests, the next morning he visited me in the hospital. He explained all that was going on, showed me the brain scan. I am so happy that I will be working with him. Thank God for doctors like Dr. Verma.

Linda Whitney – Oct 21, 2020
I had a stroke in 2014 and Dr. Verma was called in to take over my case. I had the stroke on Thursday night but was misdiagnosed twice at one hospital in Plano and finally was taken to Baylor Scott and White on late Saturday night and was admitted to the hospital as a possible stroke. Dr. Verma was called on Sunday and actually came and told me what were the next steps once I was diagnosed as having a stroke. He took care of me for the next 2 years. I'm doing great today because of his care.

He was very unprofessional. He got the result of the MRI and he was too busy to get back to me knowing that I was on pain and those results were very important to me. After making several calls finally I was told by his nurse there was nothing to worry about it. That is not true. I requested the radiologist report today. There are several things to be concerned about, but since it nos in his area any more and he was not going to be able to get more money from my case. Who cares!

Dallas, TX – May 02, 2016
Nice man. BAD bedside manor. His mannerisms never changed, ex. showed no empathetic/sympathetic reaction to anything & unable to relate to my reality. On last visit he voiced complete confidence in the ntkw of Drs in HTPN (formerly DDA) & system used to store all patient records done w/i HTPN/Baylor. But he had no record of 2 MRI's & Drs info (both in HTPN). I needed to get a PCP. He disagreed w/my reason for not choosing a PCP w/i HTPN, because records weren't accessible to HTPN filing system.

Nice in person, but bad bedside manner. Quick to jump to conclusions that required invasion testing. I wouldn't recommend him to others.
