Dr George is a meticulous, skilled, gifted surgeon. After my surgery, in spite of the usual ups and downs in recovery, I feel better than I've felt for years. I have a new lease on life thanks to him. I've got places to go and people to see..Thank you Dr. George for excellent care from beginning care and careful diagnosis, to the surgery itself and the follow up care.

Beware. Caution. Had a hernia repaired done. DrAustin George cut into my bladder. A urologist had to repair. Three and half hours under anesthesia. Four days of hospitalization. After released from hospital had to come back to emergency room with a urinary track infection. Dr Austin George caused nerve damage in my right groin. Which I’m still being treated for. Now Dr Austin George is billing me for follow up visits.

A few years ago Dr. George performed an umbilical hernia surgery on me and it healed up nicely and I had no compilations. In December of 2020 he also performed a more complicated hiatal hernia surgery on me and now a few weeks later I am feeling great with no complications at all. I can eat any thing I want and I never have any acid reflux. He is very good at what he does and I would highly recommend him.

Based on the good reviews I read, I recently saw Dr. George for a second opinion for a hernia. The exam he and another person did was somewhat painful. They pushed and prodded the hernia and the area around it. I was totally pain free when I arrived at his office. Once I left the pain became progressively worse, and my wife had to drive so I could lie down in the back seat. The pain was so intense that I needed to consult him immediately. When his nurse finally returned my call, I told her the exam had caused sharp and intense pains, and I needed to come back. I also told her I was a forty-five minute drive away, and she informed me that he would be leaving the office in thirty minutes, at 4:15 pm. She offered no alternative or treatment whatsoever, just restated that he would leave at 4:15 pm. Dr. George and his staffs' lack of service and concern for the problem they created made my decision to have another surgeon repair my hernia very easy.

Dr. George is very professional and genuinely listened to what I was telling him. This was my first surgery in over 15 years and he explained every detail to me before hand and put me at ease. If I ever need surgery again, I will definitely ask to have him as my surgeon. Thanks again Dr. George.

Dr. George is a very skilled and caring surgeon, thoroughly explaining the procedure. Because of past surgeries, I was full of adhesions. His persistence with Robotic Surgery to cut thru the adhesions and remove my gallbladder, spared me open surgery and more adhesions forming. Dr. George coordinated with KU Endoscopy to remove multiple large stones from my Bile Duct. I highly recommend Dr. George.
