Adjuva Psychiatry has helped me during the worst year of my life. Both Dr. Thompson and his assistant Joey are the nicest most compassionate people i know. I thank them and highly recommend Adjuva as we all need a helping hand after these unprecedented times, and they are the best.

Dr. Thompson, thankfully, broke every preconceived notion I had of seeing a psychiatrist! First, when choosing a Doctor to work with I ran in to many that either were not taking new patients or had months long waits. Dr. Thompson saw me in less than a week after my first call to his office. He is extremely easy to talk to and put me at ease immediately. His approach and demeanor helped me to be truly honest with myself. In addition, my expectations of that first visit was that it would be 15 minutes followed by standard prescription. No, we spoke for nearly an hour; and while he did prescribe medication, he also made several recommendations beyond medication that have helped. He also made sure that I understood what I was taking and why he felt it would help me. Follow-up visits have been very good as well. Some shorter than others, but, I never feel rushed. Most importantly I feel that I am heard and understood every time.
