Dr. Beall was GREAT - once. Second visit I had issues with her NP, and to schedule my next visit for my first treatment i was told I could ONLY see the NP. I got a call from the office manager informing me that "Dr. Beall has many patients and cannot see you". I guess she is a good doctor - but if I am not a patient - she is not a doctor.

Really dismissive, basically implied all of my symptoms were in my head or I was making too big of a deal about them. Blamed my fatigue on having a long commute when I just started my new job. Said “so how many doctors do you have anyway” implying I’m a hypochondriac or something, and “what are you so concerned about.” I’d been intubated twice and she said “are those your only hospitalizations, not that they don’t matter of course” also said she was going to do a bunch of labs, lied and only did less than 1/4 of what she claimed to be drawing the blood for. Didn’t even check iron which she also blamed fatigue on previous anemia. I tried to create a patient portal account to ask about the labs at least and they wouldn’t let me.

Dr. Beall who is without a doubt the most thorough and caring physician I have ever had! I have never had rheumatoid issues before and she took her time before, during, and after the exam to listen to me and explain my condition. She provided many treatment options and gave very sound and reasonable recommendations. I know this is not the case but I truly felt as though I was her only patient that day. She is a tremendous asset to the practice!

I have been seeing Dr. Ashley Beall for several years both at the Wheaton and Shady Grove offices. Dr. Beall is a wonderful rheumatologist. I always feel like she is interested in making me feel better and takes adequate time to understand how I am feeling and explain the appropriate treatment. I have also found the nurses and receptionists to be friendly and efficient.

With a recent diagnosis of Sjogren's , I went to see Dr Beall. She was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and even saw me over her lunch hour. She had a scribe in the room, so I felt that we could speak without being distracted by the computer. Thank you. I will see her every 6 months and I feel that I am in good hands. Highly recommend this fine doctor.

With a lot of hope I saw Dr Beall to help w/ KNEE & HIP pain. She gave me an RA DX due to family history and HIGH WBC in my knee. I had never had a high CRP or SED, but given tons of meds I learned 2 years later, after receiving my records that she minimized hip issue. I ended up having to see an orthopedic to get it treated and DX a hip impingement. Subsequent surgery showed it was severe- bone on bone. My recovery is poor due to the extended time it went untreated. DEFINITELY Wouldn't RECOMMEN

I was referred to Dr. Beall by my Primary Care Provider. How thankful I am that our paths crossed. Dr. Beall is one of the most compassionate providers of care that I have ever known. She listens and reacts with a judgment that is in the best interest of my well being. If I ever need to be seen, not a problem. I can usually get in within 1-2 days, and have even gotten in on the same day. All I can say is Thank you to Dr. Beall and her staff. You all are a God Send!

I have to ask for what I believe she should have suggested. Like seeing a pain specialist, an endocrinologist and when to do follow up X-rays. I am in the health field so I come prepared but if people are not in this field, they would not know what to ask.
