Doctor was rude and sarcastic. He ordered several expensive and unnecessary tests without explaining them. He also prescribed several expensive and unnecessary forms of pain relief before any diagnostic imaging was done. I did not ask for these pain relief options and when I asked if they would help with recovery or just with pain, he talked extremely quickly and vaguely before pushing me out. luckily the staff was helpful and I will be seeing a different doctor going forward. It seems even the people working for him know he is awful.

Horrible! Do NOT see this person unless you want to be abused and berated! There are far too many good physicians who honor and respect their patients. Not worth the time or money; I’d rather be in severe PAIN!

I wish to thank Dr. Shanbhag and the friendly staff who each and collectively make my experiences at this facility as easy and successful as it could be each time. Words cannot express my thanks for every time I’ve had the pleasure of being there. The entire staff take excellent care of me during my procedures and visits. They are always attentive, helpful, and eager to ensure I am comfortable at all times. I look forward to future care in this facility, and know that when I come back in June, I will be in great hands! A big thank you to Dawn for going above and beyond! Thanks and have a great day. I am feeling better day-by-day, and you all helped to get that process started. You're the best!

Excellent office staff! With an amazing Dr! I have suffered for 20 years with my c-spine, today I was a little scared due to some of these reviews but I have to say hands down the Best Experience I have ever had! The procedure was quick and the only pain involved was a few needle pokes. I will Never go anywhere else.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. I can agree with most of the negative comments on here. He was rude and his bedside manner was horrible. I also was given TWO urine tests and received a large bill for them, when they were unnecessary as I was seeing him for a preexisting spinal cord injury and did not want to be prescribed opioids, even though he was pushing them.

Dr. Shanbhag and his staff have been very helpful with managing the myriad of conditions and pain related to them of my physically disabled daughter WITHOUT the use of opiods or other controlled pain medications. The relief has been amazing. The pain isn't completely gone, as her conditions are not gone, but the pain is now manageable and she's got quality of life back. The staff is wonderful, caring, and so helpful and accommodating!

Amazing doctor. Very compassionate and is THE first doctor to EVER tell me that my pain IS REAL (in the almost 10 years I’ve been dealing with it). He finally put all my thoughts of me being ‘crazy’ to rest and told me that MY pain IS, in fact REAL, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I believe that all these negative reviews are because of lack of understanding him on a professional level, (you have to put your feelings aside sometimes) and I would HIGHLY recommend him to others.

Dr. Shanbhang did not help me with my back pain at all. He did not take my pain serious and the pain medicine he prescribed did not work. He wanted to do injections and scheduled it a month later because he was going out of town. I called them to cancel my first injection because I had a doctor that could do it within the next week as I did not want to be suffering for a month A week later, I got a certified letter terminating our relationship, now I am not allowed to see any physicians there

I found Dr. Shanbhag & his staff friendly & professional. I enjoyed Dr. Shanbhag's light sense of humor as it was a good ice breaker. Unfortunately, Dr. Ashish Shanbhag and his nurse practioner, Michelle, look at there patients as numbers and not people. Their general lack of knowledge of the patient chart personally placed this patients life in danger when medications were prescribed that would interfere with present medications and would have caused a severe increase in current symptoms (ie, seizures & TIA's). This was all done without a thorough appointment.

This doctor wouldn't even shake my hand and told me all I needed was bengay for my back and diagnose me with spinal joint nerve issues. He recommended I take some vitamins and wear a back brace! I'm not impressed, plus I was charged a outrageous price for the consultation and the urine test he collected on the first visit.
