My name is Leonard McLaughlin and my recent experience with Dr. Pershad was a great one and I believe he save my life. I am a patient in the V.A. system and after all their test, they found several blockages in my heart, but because of my surgeries in the past, unblocking them was not an option, so they chose medication over surgery. I complained and wanted a second opinion which brought me to Dr. Pershad, through the V.A. Choice program. Dr. Pershad, did what my V.A. could not. Bless this man

I had been on a blood thinner, Warfarin for several years. He got my insurance company to agree for me to have an minor surgical outpatient procedure that got me off that blood thinner several years ago. He makes great decisions for his patients and cares about them.

After being told that there was nothing that could be done for me. My husband and I went to see his cardiologist who immediately referred us to Dr. Pershad. First meeting was informative and encouraging. I have since had 6 stents put in, which I was originally told by another cardiologist that I didn't qualify for the procedure. I feel fabulous and know now that I have a much brighter future than what was presented by the first cardiologist. Thanks so very much to Dr. Pershad and his team.
