I walked out of the office
My experience in this past year with Dr. Parikh was not a good one. He was referred by my former cardiologist who retired. I found Dr. Parikh to be arrogant. His office was understaffed; no one was at desk to greet me for my appt. I had an 8 am appt and was on time, knowing it was probably his first appt of the day. He did not show until 8 :15, never apologized for being late and continued to keep me waiting. Instead of apologizing for being late, he told me I should be patient and "put myself in someone's else's shoes". He did not seem to care about my time. Secondly, all my personal data showed on a large television type screen in examination room for anyone who came in to see. I found that embarrassing. On a positive note, the woman who does the ECHO testing was very good and kind.

In it for the money
Doesn’t feel the need to explain why I am on certain medication. I questioned a prescription, and he flew off the handle at me. Needs more patience and understanding.. lack of empathy, and is watching his watch making sure he is not going past the allotted time for the appointment rather than caring about your health.

I have had two appointments with this office and I have had no success with even getting a simple stress test done. The staff is the most ruddest and arrogant staff that I have encountered. I go to many doctors and I have never had any problems with doctors staff ever like I have here. This is a really horrible experience and this does not look very good for this doctors practice.

Met with doctor and nurse practitioner, as requested by my general practitioner. Blood Pressure Medication changed "by doctor". Over two weeks/phone calls to office/portal messages, as blood pressure continued to rise, NO RETURN CALL from office. Made another appointment to see doctor to report bp issues. Doctor (alone) asked me why was I continuing to contact his office and blocking up his phones -- said he was a "cardiologist" and busy with other issues. Said I should contact my primary doctor.......then he left the room to answer a phone across the hall -- I left.

Today's experience at Dr. Parikh's office was second to none! I was able to walk right up to the receptionist give my name. As a new patient I had to fill out a very small amount of paperwork which already had 99% of my personal information listed – All I had to do was correct(if needed) what was already written there… this is an absolute first!!! The average doctors office makes you write a book that takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes¿¿ Today's paperwork took 3 to 5 minutes at the most!!!

Dr. Parikh was and is a lifesaver for me. He came to my aid when I had a post op "Massive, Bi-Lateral Pulmonary Embolism" and yes, it was as bad as it sounds. Not only did his save my life, but demonstrated the most caring nature for me, a perfect stranger to him at the time. The Good Doctor has shown a most empathetic side and caring bedside manner that nowadays is a lost art to most. Now he is more that one of my doctors, I consider him my dear friend and I trust him implicitly! JHM
